Our car from Veego ran out of coolant during a snowstorm. This led to the engine overheating and the heating not working. The root cause seems to be neglect of the car - the levels clearly hadn't been checked for ages. We were lucky it didn't happen while we were on a Highway or we could have caused a serious accident. What made this worse was that, after initially acknowledging our distress call, Veego ignored us for 75 minutes while we were asking them critical questions about what kind of coolant to buy. They also promised to refund us for coolant during the trip but have since ignored them. We've escalated the complaint to Turo. I would suggest you avoid Veego.

The car was okay, but the tires were very bald. I got stuck going up a hill near the cottage we went to. I eventually had to turn around and get a run at the hill. Other cars didn’t have the problem. In snowy weather or icey conditions, the tires could create a real safety issue. I’d hesitate to rent from Veego or even Turo again. Vehicle safety shouldn’t be something renters have to worry about.
