Beks was very nice, after booking with the free delivery and pick up I was notified that she could not make that happen due to her schedule. I booked 1 day in advance, so I was understanding and we came up with the option of her driving to me and I would drive her back and I also asked what time she would meet at my address for the ending date. For the pick up, due to her location being 22 miles away after driving her to her place and arriving home, I was already 42 miles less charge plus 22 of her driving to me (64 miles total). So starting my trip I was at 40% battery life. The adapter for regular ev charging stations was not included, so I used a tesla super charger to get it to full charge. (I understand her Terms say I’d be charged separately for super chargers but I had no other options) I used super chargers for the full trip and the the day I needed to drop the car I received a message saying to drop at her address. Despite being upset that that wasn’t the agreement, I said ok since I figured she’d just give me a ride home instead of the agreed her meeting at my house. I knew getting to her I would need to charge the car so there’d be enough for her to drive me home and herself back home so I let her know I’d charge it before dropping to to her. She then wrote that taking me home wouldn’t work and I’ll need to uber, but that I won’t have to worry about charging the car and can leave the car as is which ended up being around 20% battery. I then took a $30 uber ride home. The next day I get the Turo charge for the super charger charges of $40 AND a $20 fee for “Car returned without full charge” I then reach out to Beks explaining my $30 uber fee and that me getting an uber wasn’t the original agreement and asked her to adjust the fee to at least $10 less because of this situation and thanked her. I never received a response and I relooked are her original terms on the car listing at it states the fees for returning the car uncharged BUT states that the rental includes ONE FREE FULL CHARGE. So besides her written statement that I would not have to worry about charging the car before returning I also should not have been charged that fee due to her terms stating the ONE FREE FULL CHARGE of the car. I stated when we originally messaged that the reason I chose her listing was because of the free drop off and pick up at my location option to avoid uber fees and if I would have known I’d have to pay those fees I would have went with a different listing. The car was great, but I’m very disappointed with the communication with Beks and felt it was very unprofessional. Listing accuracy was incorrect, communication was very off with what was agreed and this did not leave me feeling all to great about choosing this listing.
