The car itself drives well and everything worked, but it was just sort of trashed. Service lights were on and it smelled terribly. It was also obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly in a long time. When I picked up the Porsche it smelled like a bunch of homeless people had just smoked a pack of cigarettes in it every day for a month. It was also obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned well, so I immediately went and detailed the car, inside and out, including waxing the outside and thoroughly cleaning the inside since it was apparent that hadn’t been done. The smell was still so bad that first day, that it was giving me a headache. The next morning I went to a local Walmart in the town I was in and bought two Arm and Hammer refrigerator boxes of baking soda and put one under the front drivers side seat and the other in the back. That actually did the trick and, while the car still didn’t smell great the rest of the trip, at least it wasn’t so intense. There was also a disconcerting light that said “Interm. service now”,along with a picture of a wrench, that was on the whole time. He had said it was because the person that rented it before me had used regular gas, but who knows. I used premium gas the whole time, but the light never went off. All in all, the trip was fine. The car drove well and there weren’t any problems, but the Porsche isn’t well maintained, smells bad and just seems generally trashed.

Hey Brent, The service light was not my fault since the last renter did not feel up the proper (premium) gas and the service light came on. It had nothing to do with how i took care of the car. I got it detailed before you came and picked it up and in the pictures, it shows that the car is very clean. Also, you had your dog in the car and did not clean his hair which was stuck all over my trunk, i had to get it detailed again.
