We had a great experience with Dennis & his Model 3. It was our first time with Turo AND a Tesla and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. If you are looking for a vehicle to get around the Black Hills with, go with this one! Plenty of convenient, affordable places to charge & an accommodating & helpful host.

I can’t rate 6 stars or I would for my experience with Dennis and for his Tesla. Dennis responds immediately to any communication and was very helpful. The car drives amazingly, was pristine inside., not to mention that we didn’t have to pay for gas. After driving the Tesla, I’m going to look into buying one.

Dennis was a wonderful host. He even provided some tips of what to see in the surrounding areas. The car was great. It was almost too high-tech for my tastes but the car thinks of everything for you. I would say the only downside is having to learn and navigate the charging stations - 110, 220, and superchargers. We had to sort of plan our trip with the intent to charge the car. But I have never driven an electric car so this was foreign to me. There were superchargers in Rapid City, Custer, Wall, and Spearfish and it took about 20-30 minutes to charge for about $3-4. The wait made up for not having to spend $60 in fuel for a fill up. We drove over 750 miles and spent $27 to charge it up. We easily would have spent $200 in fuel if it wasn't for the electric car. I would definitely do it again.
