Family vacation? Perfect for that with 5 seats and tons of storage. Work trip with lots of miles? 300 plus mile range without any of the fuel costs. Just want to see if an electric truck can push you to the back of your seat? 835 horsepower taking you from 0-60 mph in just 3 seconds should do the trick. You will need to charge the truck if you are driving more than 200 miles, so get the ChargePoint app or similar and set up your account. The fast chargers (CCS-200KW or greater) are capable of adding up to 140 miles of range to your R1 in just 20 minutes. See photos, for an idea of how much time you will need to charge the Rivian, the fastest charge rate is from 10% to 60%. Any tolls incurred during rental period will be billed post trip. This does have a rooftop tent available for 2 persons as an extra (very comfortable with memory foam!), please add extra if wanted with the rental. If you want to wash, please hand wash only. No towing or bed use besides basic cargo until approved prior to use. When people ask me about the Rivian, I tell them that it's the best vehicle I've ever driven. Hands down. It has better off-road and towing capability than my Tundra and the performance of an exotic sports car! When I make these statements, many people smile and shake their heads dubiously - particularly over the latter claim. :) So, I offer them a ride. It's interesting to see the paradigms being shattered. When you think about the countless hours of engineering that has gone into producing these exotic sports cars, they are even more of a marvel to behold! Then Rivian comes along, and suddenly a person like me can tow a camper with a vehicle that can rival any of these cars, anytime, anywhere - and even go places where none of them dare go! Now, a Rivian is not an inexpensive vehicle by any practical measure, but for an all around good feeling this is it! Feel free to rent this with your friends, and then offer them a ride!
