Ok, so this is my 2nd time renting this truck. The truck was cleaner and ran pretty well. My only 2 issues are, upon pickup, the host parked in a permit area. When I noticed, he told me that I needed to find a non-permit parking area in Santa Monica. Thats not easy and it also takes away from the return time consideration. I let him know that I'd find similar parking. He did not dispute. Also, the brakes seem like they need to be replaced pretty soon. You have to press down pretty far to make the truck come to a complete stop.

Car was not where at the location described. The owner texted me I would have to pay extra if I didn’t fill up the take past Full. I only used the car for less than 50 miles and for only 3 hours was just going to return the truck 20 or so minutes late. The owner then told me that “insurance does not cover for past what was paid for even if it’s just a few minutes. The truck itself was in good condition but it’s quite an old truck.

So, the car was not clean. It does not appear that the car receives regular cleanings. It was dusty and had lots of other debrie. However, it worked. I did need to return it early due to family emergency. I did not have any interaction with the host despite some text that I sent. At the same time, the only problem, which was not a prblem for me was that the car wasnt clean. My husband and I were just going to work, so not a big deal.
