Here are some guidelines and Requirements for booking our vehicle ❗️CLEANING & REFUELING ❗️ We do want you to have the best time while you you are here on vacation but kindly ask that you return the truck in the SAME CONDITION as when it was received. This includes the same amount of gas, washed, vacuumed, or cleaning of any extra add on’s such as beach gear, if rented. We understand that every second counts while you are on vacation and sometimes we fall short of time. In the event that I need to refuel the gas on my time, I will charge an additional $10 inconvenience fee. If the truck is not brought back in the same condition and needs to be cleaned more than what a car wash and a quick 5 min vacuum could do, a cleaning fee will be assessed. The cleaning fee Turo currently charges for vehicles that return dirty is currently $150. As a courtesy, Please do not track SAND or MUD into the vehicle.The best way to avoid getting sand in the car is not to get in with wet or sandy swimsuits, towels, shoes, and hair. Most beaches on the island have a rinse-off station. Please take full advantage of these to minimize the amount of sand tracked into the vehicle. getting into the vehicle while wet will also leave water marks on the seats as well as dampen the seats which make the car smell musty. Both of these things are difficult to remove. Please be cautious of these things to avoid having to pay more for cleaning along with spending time having to stop off and clean the truck. ❗️I DO NOT ALLOW ANY off Roading whatsoever during your rental period.❗️ANY off roading done will put you in violation of TURO’s policy. You will be able to explore a lot of places here on the island without having to go off road and risk getting the truck dirty and dusty BUT in the event during your trip and is not meeting the requirements above, here are a few car washes on Maui close to the Kahului airport. IF ANY EVIDENCE IS FOUND, including smell, GUEST WILL BE CHARGED AND AUTOMATIC CLEANING FEE OF $250 ❗️ 📍As a heads up and for a piece of mind, all vehicles are equipped with multiple tracking devices. This also includes a AirTag within the vehicle so please do not be alarmed if you get a notification 📍 🛻PICKING UP & DROPPING OFF✈️ For your convenience along with avoiding time spent waiting in lines after getting off the plane, I will have the truck conveniently ready to go for you directly across of baggage claim in the airport parking lot. Although there will be no extra charge, There will be a small minimum fee up to $15 at the most to get out of the airport parking lot. I will send over a introduction message upon your booking regarding the check out process and steps to follow to get out of the parking lot. I will also send detailed instructions prior to you landing on where to find the truck and how to access the keys. I will be there for you every step of the way upon check in and check out. ❗️TICKETS, LOSS & DAMAGE ❗️ The renter/driver is responsible for ALL and ANY tickets/violations incurred OR towing of the vehicle. You will also be responsible for any lost/damaged key fobs or any damaged beach gear or extra add-ons during your rental period. guests are responsible for any and all tickets received during time of rental.
