The Cybertruck is everything that is your basic Tesla, but bigger (literally) and better. You can expect all the tech features such as Bluetooth, cruise control and the 360-degree camera, but there's even more. There's a built in megaphone feature, and the exterior speakers allow you to play your music outside of the vehicle (while in park, that is) and FSD. There are two touchscreen interfaces: allowing for flexibility for the driver OR the passengers in the back to control the music or temperature. FAQs
Where do I charge the Cybertruck?
There are a Supercharging Stations located throughout Columbus (Downtown, Grandview, Polaris, and Grove City). You are able to utilize the GPS on the Tesla's tablet in order to locate these stations. We also provide you a charger that can be plugged into a regular wall outlet if you plan on parking it in a private garage during your trip. Please be aware that plugging it into a regular outlet, or bringing it to a ChargePoint station, will be significantly slower than a Supercharging Station. Any on-trip charging you do at a supercharging station will be sent to you via Turo for reimbursement once your trip ends.
Am I allowed to off-road with the Cybertruck? What about towing?
Off-roading and towing are strictly against Turo policy. If it discovered that you have violated policy Turo may do the following: - Charge a violation fee - Hold you fully liable for damage repair - Void your protection for any physical damage to a host’s vehicle - Temporarily suspend your use of the platform - Remove you from Turo You can review Turo's prohibited uses here: https://help.turo.com/en_us/prohibited-uses-Hyi0E4l49
Why is the battery draining when I'm not driving?
There is something called 'ghost draining' that happens especially during the colder months. This is something you want to be aware of, especially if you are parking the vehicle outside during the winter. We recommend if you are unable to plug the vehicle in overnight, that you not leave the car with anything under 35% overnight (especially during the winter time).
Are you flexible with extra mileage?
Yes, but please be aware anything above your total allotted mileage (calculated 200 miles/day), will be charged to you at the back end for an additional per mile fee calculated by Turo. We have an unlimited mileage 'Extra' that you can add to your trip, if you believe that would be a better option for you.
Can you set up the phone key for my trip?
Yes, just let us know in advance and when you pick up the vehicle we will get you set up with this feature.
