  • Is there smoking permitted in the car?

    No Smoking or any type of marijuana smell is allowed in the car. If there is any lingering smell, we will report to Turo and charge in excess $250 for detail and cleaning services.

  • Does gas need to be filled? What octane gas do I use?

    Car will usually come with a full tank of gas. Please return it at same gas level with 91 supreme or higher fuel. Please note travelers are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo policy.   • Do we have to clean the car when returning?

    Our cars will usually come freshly washed! Please ensure you return the car the same way you received it, or we will charge a $35 cleaning fee. You can pre-pay in the 'extras' section for only $25!

The pickup and drop off both went smooth and on time. Car was in good condition and ran great. I will definitely be using Robert as a host anytime I travel to AZ.

The car was clean and worked great! Pretty accurate listing. There was a small penny-sized ding on the windshield that I wished was communicated to me beforehand. The initial hand-off at the airport was a little stressful—host rep was late and unfamiliar with airport. But overall went well.

Short review: HOST WAS A NO SHOW AT PICK UP.  CAUSED US TO MISS OUR FLIGHT AND HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR NEXT ONE   Robert was responsive when we arrived.   At drop off, I asked how pickup would be arranged.  He told us to let him know 30 minutes prior to our arrival, and he would meet us to retrieve the car.   The day before pick-up, we confirmed a pickup time of 8am.  He reiterated that we should call him 30 minutes prior to our arrival.   On the way to the airport I messaged through the app and called the host over 50 times to confirm the pickup location. During one call, the host answered, then hung up.  After this, all calls went straight to voicemail.   We contacted Turo customer service and were on hold for 25 minutes.  Fearing we would miss our flight, and not wanting to leave the car, we sent a message explaining plans to have the vehicle towed. IMMEDIATELY we received a response telling to park the car (40 MINUTES Later) As a result of the delayed response, then having to follow the hosts directions (15 MINUTES) we missed our flight and had to pay an extra $650 to get on the next one.    We are fairly certain the host was still sleeping during our pickup time.  We understand things happen, but it would be the hosts responsibility to rectify the situation.  At this point (9 days later) they have failed to do so.  We sent flight information and receipts confirming the extra money spent and there has been no resolution.  They shared plans to schedule a call and this has not been done yet, despite our multiple attempts.    Next time, I will pay more and use a regular rental car company.  This was a HASSLE and costs us more money.

Nice and clean car. Timely responses and Communication between Robert and I. Would recommend. Much better to do this than overpaying at the airport rental services. Only giving 4 stars however because the sunroof was broken, not a big deal to us but may be to others.
