-Return the car with the same amount of fuel as it had when you picked it up if you did not add on the Extra "Prepaid Refuel". -No smoking in the car or there will be up to a $250 dollar fee. -No pets allowed or there will be a $150 fee. -Communication is key in providing the best experience for you and me!

• Is there a daily mileage allowance?

  The car comes with the amount of miles listed on your reservation. Any mileage above that is subject to the overage charge listed. Unlimited mileage may be purchased via the Extras option.

• Do we have to clean the car when returning?

  Please remember that this is a car share and not a car rental. The car must be returned in the same condition, inside and out, as you received it. Types of cleaning issues: Biowaste or bodily fluids, spills or waste that requires cleaning inside of vents or between the door panel and window major stains or residue that covers a large area of the vehicle’s interior and would require steam cleaning or a full detail, an extreme amount of caked on mud, dirt, sand, or insects that requires professional-level exterior detailing, or significant amounts of pet hair. If it clearly shows an eligible cleaning issue, Turo will charge you a cleaning violation fee of $150 plus a 3% processing fee.

• What if I return the car late?

  "If a guest returns a vehicle more than 29 minutes late, they may be charged for the additional use. This is billed by an average of the daily rate of the vehicle, including the trip fee and any other applicable fees such as the young driver fee and the protection fee." *0-29 minutes late: No charge. *30 minutes to 1 hour 59 minutes late: ½ the average daily trip price; $50* improper return fee at Turo’s discretion. *2 hours or more late: Average daily trip price for 1 day + $20* late return fee; $50* improper return fee at Turo’s discretion.

• Is there smoking permitted in the car?

  You may not smoke in any car, even if you believe your host or a previous guest may have done so. If you return a car with physical evidence of smoking, your host can report the issue to Turo. When they do, the customer support team will review the required evidence. If it clearly shows physical evidence of smoking, we’ll charge you a smoking violation fee of $250 plus an additional 3% process fee and remove you from Turo. We’ll close your account, and you’ll be unable to appeal this action.

• Are pets allowed in your car?

  I'm sorry but I do not allow pets in my car. If a pet enters a vehicle at any time without a host’s consent, the guest will be held responsible for having the car cleaned and a cleaning fee of $150 plus a 3% processing fee will be charged. *Turo allows service and assistance animals, as defined by law, in any vehicle on the platform.

• Does gas need to be filled before returning the car?

  Guests are responsible for bringing back the vehicle with the same gas level as when it is picked up, as per Turo's policy. Details please see here: https://help.turo.com/en_us/paying-for-fuel-rJkqN4eV9 *If you select the Extra "Prepaid Refuel" for $55 you can return with the gas tank at any level.
