As the primary guest, you are held liable for any damages that may happen to the roof panels due to mishandling and could range from $1,000 - $1,500 to the full replacement cost. *Welcome to your Bronco experience! To ensure a smooth and safe ride, here are the instructions for removing the front roof panels and storing them properly. Please follow these steps carefully.* **1. Prepare the Area** - **Ensure the Bronco is parked** in a safe, flat area, and the engine is turned off. - Make sure the **vehicle is in Park** (P) mode. - **Check the weather**: It's ideal to remove the roof panels on clear, dry days to avoid any rain or wind. **2. Remove the Roof Panels** - **Locate the release latches**: - Inside the Bronco, you’ll find the latches for the roof panels above the front seats. - There are two latches, one on each side of the roof. - **Release the latches**: - Pull the latch handles towards you to release the panels. You may hear a click or feel resistance when the panels are disengaged. - **Lift the panels**: - Carefully grab the panels from the sides, making sure to hold them securely. The front panels are lightweight but can be awkward to handle. - **For added safety**: If the panels feel heavy, ask for assistance in lifting them. **3. Store the Roof Panels Properly** - **Locate the storage bag**: - The Bronco should be equipped with a storage bag designed for the roof panels. If a storage bag is not provided, ensure the panels are wrapped in a soft cloth or towel to avoid scratches or damage. - **Place the panels in the storage bag**: - Carefully place each roof panel into the storage bag. If there is a specific orientation mentioned (e.g., panel A first), please follow those instructions. - **Secure the storage bag**: - Once the panels are inside, zip up the bag securely. The bag will help protect the panels from any damage and dirt while they’re stored. **4. Store the Panels in the Vehicle** - **Place the bag in the back of the Bronco**: - The panels, once bagged, should be placed in the back of the Bronco, ideally behind the rear seats or in the cargo area. Ensure the panels are securely stored so they don't move during transit. - **Tip**: You may want to use additional blankets or padding if needed to prevent any potential shifting or impact. **5. We expect to receive the car back with some regular dirt due to dust, rain or just dirt from normal driving conditions. You will be charged a cleaning fee if the car is returned excessively dirty meaning stains, excessive dust, mud, spilled drinks, smoke odor (smoking policy strictly enforced). Cleaning fee is $150. If for some reason you smoke in the vehicle which is totally prohibited 🚫 the smoking fee will be $150. TOLLS: vehicle is equipped with E-pass so you can go through E-pass and Sunpass lanes for added convenience.
