The car we rented was already due for service. After driving around 200 miles, it began to shake, and the check engine light came on. When we contacted the Host, he simply told us to call Turo, without offering any apology for the inconvenience. The car had to be towed back to the Host, and we were forced to find another vehicle in the middle of the night. The next day, the Host sent us a bill for the gas, which was fair, but he also added a $10 "inconvenience fee" for refueling the car. While it’s not about the $10, he could have waived that fee considering how much the car's issues disrupted our trip.

First of all the car had been serviced and maintenance was done a week before your trip and I have all the necessary paperwork. The car had no issues. Secondly, whenever there is any issues with any used cars (which could happen to any car) we need to find out the cause of the issue (sometimes cars get abused) and Turo roadside service is the best solution specially if you’re away over 200 miles. Finally the $10 inconvenience gas fee is an automatic charge that Hosts can NOT change or waive.
