Attempted to modify trip over 48 hrs out and could not get him to verify or answer calls or texts. He didn’t seem to understand the Turo system and was no help. He told us he would pick us up at our hotel and ended up telling us he couldn’t do that and we had to take a $20 Uber ride to get the jeep. He said he couldn’t do anything about the refund and he didn’t know how to contact Turo. We are working now with Turo to get a days refund but they didn’t have a working phone number last I heard.

The Jeep’s roof was broken and couldn’t be taken off. I was very disappointed this wasn’t revealed to me until pick up.

Overall, a great experience. Very clean and sturdy car. Only issue was with the engine. It kept turning itself off when it idles or at a stoplight then it restarts itself. We were told that it was normal but I didn't think it was. I think the starter/engine needs to be looked at. Otherwise, it was a really good experience.

Great guy. Friendly. Veteran. Very accommodating. Just be prepared with cash of $50-100 to get to the jeep location from the airport.
