I offer this Jeep so that my Guests can have the best of all worlds while here in paradise for their hard earned and well deserved vacations. It's a sporty, stylish, high-riding convertible, that’s nimble and fun to drive. Simultaneously, it's also a luxury SUV with all the posh trimmings of a classy Cadillac. Inside the cabin, is nothing but premium first-class materials and amenities. Removable front row hard top provides for awesome 360 degree visibility. Perfect for taking in the views of overhead scenery such as waterfalls, mountains, rainbows, the luxury high rises in the city, or the silvery moon at midnight. The rugged good looks of this Jeep blend in perfectly with all the must-see attractions that lie in wait all around the island. Practical enough for sight-seeing, shopping, taking clients out to project sites; or simply going out for an evening of dinner and drinks at one of the many popular dining venues located throughout Honolulu. Effortlessly tour the island in comfort. When you’ve had your fill of sunshine, simply roll up the windows and you will be instantly isolated from the outside world. Parking details

This car is staged for you curbside in a quiet residential neighborhood a short distance from the heart of Waikiki and just minutes from the main freeway for convenient access. All the specific information on the address and location of the vehicle, plus a few simple pickup instructions will be sent to you upon booking. If you would like to arrange for the vehicle to be staged for you at an exact location, ready for you at the airport terminal public parking structure, or for valet delivery to your Hotel, or if you wish to have a different return location; please contact the Host in advance to ask about pricing, and to schedule a custom delivery or return.

Guidelines

Vehicle MUST be returned to the pickup location unless prior arrangements have been made BEFORE BOOKING. For booking availability, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions Section (FAQ) #1 thru #5. An additional $50 Service charge will apply if the vehicle is returned by the Guest to any location that is not pre-approved by the Host. You can request this in advance via the EXTRA One-Way Trip option. Otherwise, you will receive a request for reimbursement after completing your trip. Requests for early pickup, late return, or any change to booking times/dates must be cleared with Host in advance THEN the Guest must modify the booking via the Turo App. Per Turo policy, all of my vehicles are delivered to Guests clean inside and out and likewise, Turo expects Guests to return vehicles in same condition as received, with a minimum amount of soiling and mess. Guests are encouraged to select POST-TRIP CLEANING in the EXTRAS section when booking. I ask you kindly, please keep in mind this is my PERSONAL vehicle and not a rental-fleet beater. Guests who return the vehicle excessively dirty will be charged an additional fee. Please refer to FAQ #7. Please contact me prior to booking if you have any questions regarding this. If you will be planning to remove the front row hard top cover panels during your trip, then you must NOTIFY ME WHEN BOOKING so that I will include the hard-top storage bag.   • Can I just book DELIVERY & RETURN for any time of any day?

  • Can I book a DIFFERENT delivery and return location?

    YES. By default, Turo does not make this a very intuitive operation, but it is certainly possible to do so with a few additional steps. FIRST go to the EXTRAS Section and select 1-WAY TRIP. NEXT, input your desired location address for PICKUP, then finalize all your trip details and submit your application to complete your reservation. LAST, go back into your reservation and request a TRIP MODIFICATION. From here, enter your desired RETURN address. Submit your modified booking request. From here, Turo will send me a prompt to accept your request to have a different return address. I will accept your request and the process is complete.

  • What Times can I book delivery & return at the HOST's Location?

    Booking hours at HOST's Location (10 minutes from Honolulu Airport): Time of DELIVERY - ANY Time of RETURN - ANY* This is a great alternative for the Guest for pickup and return by using Uber or taxi from Honolulu Airport, and is available option 24/7 with a minimum of 1-day advanced notice. Any changes Guests wish to make to scheduled DELIVERY times/dates must be made in advance via the Turo App, under MODIFY TRIP in order for the Host to accommodate them (if possible). *If the Guest needs to return the vehicle early, please give notification to HOST via Turo app/Text message as soon as possible BEFORE return. Guests returning the vehicle more than 30 minutes late are subject to additional charges by Turo. Please contact me if you have any questions about delivery & return options.

  • What Times can I book delivery & return at the Honolulu Airport?

    Honolulu Airport: Time of DELIVERY - ANY* Time of RETURN - ANY** *Delivery will occur per the availability of the Host during a window from 9:00AM to 9:00PM. The vehicle will be staged for unattended pick-up in one of the Airport parking structures as close to the Guest's scheduled pick-up time as is practicable by the Host. Guest understands that the vehicle will accrue hourly parking fees. These fees *usually* range from $10 to $20. Please note that IF the Guest schedules a pick-up time outside of the Host's delivery window of 9:00AM to 9:00PM, the vehicle will be delivered in the PRIOR window of availability. For example: Should the Guest's early-bird flight arrive at 5:00AM, and the Guest schedules pick-up for 5:30AM, the Host will deliver the vehicle at latest by 9:00PM the night before, and thereby accrue a minimum 9 hours of parking fees. (Parking fees are charged on whole hours after the first hour.) A good alternative for late-night/early-bird arrival times might be for the Guest to book the pickup at the HOST's LOCATION and using Uber or taxi from Honolulu Airport to pick up the vehicle. This option will typically cost LESS overall than choosing Airport delivery due to the parking fees there. OR, the Guest could consider booking the vehicle delivery DIRECTLY to their chosen Hotel, then arrive there by using the Hotel Shuttle (if provided), or by an Uber or taxi from the Airport. Least attractive, but still available as an option, the Guest might opt to book the earliest Airport delivery at 9:00AM and simply wait after their 5:00AM arrival. **On the return portion of the trip, Guest agrees not to return the vehicle more than 2 hours ahead of Scheduled Return Time to avoid excessive parking fees for Host. Guests who return the vehicle more than 30 minutes late are subject to additional charges by Turo. Any changes Guest wishes to make to scheduled DELIVERY times/dates must be made in advance via the Turo App, under MODIFY TRIP in order for the Host to accommodate them (if possible). If the Guest needs to return the vehicle early, please give notification to HOST via Turo app/Text message as soon as possible BEFORE return.   • Can I book an Overnight/1-day Rental?

    YES. If you book an Overnight/1-day Rental, I can normally accommodate your itinerary. Keep in mind, due to my busy work schedule it sometimes may not be possible. However, I'll do my best to get the car to you. For reservations occurring Monday through Thursday I will charge 2X the daily rate because it's very inconvenient for me to prepare, deliver and pick up the car during the work-week, particularly with back-to-back Overnight/1-day rentals. Also, due to Guest ability to instantly book trips without my approval, it can occasionally cause back-to-back reservations with zero time in-between to allow for cleaning & delivery. In these instances, the latest booking Guest will be notified and asked to modify their reservation dates/times. The Guest may optionally accept to receive the vehicle AS-IS (un-prepped) from the previous customer, provided, I can accommodate the Guest’s desired reservation times with respect to pick up & delivery time/location. Guests who cannot accept these Terms & Conditions may cancel their reservation.

  • How do I clean the car prior to return?

    Per policy, all of my vehicles are delivered to Guests clean inside and out and likewise, Turo expects Guests to return vehicles in same condition as received, with a minimum amount of soiling and mess. Guests are encouraged to select POST-TRIP CLEANING in the EXTRAS section when booking. BACKGROUND: Per Turo policy, all of my vehicles are delivered to Guests clean inside and out and likewise, Turo expects Guests to return vehicles in same condition as received, with a minimum amount of soiling and mess. In my experience as a Host, this is often impossible for the Guest to accomplish by simply dusting off the floor mats at the corner gas station. Simply put, trips to the beach, exploration of hiking trails and visits to scenic points will assuredly introduce LOTS of sand, dirt, mud and other debris onto the exterior, the floor mats, seats, carpet, door panels, dash and windows that require tedious amounts of vaccuuming, scrubbing and buffing in order to restore the As-delivered condition. Guests with young children can factor in the additional mess that they can expect them to create on every surface they contact. This is definitely not a responsibility that anyone wants to worry about while on vacation. It’s also not lost on me that most customers would prefer to avoid the additional hassle and labor of cleaning the car themselves. The alternative of booking an expensive appointment to have the car detailed, and then spending the same amount of valuable vacation time waiting around half the day for the car to be detailed is equally unattractive to customers, when there is so much else to do prior to conclusion of their trip. I’m fully aware that in many cases the last day of a trip is a hectic scramble of packing, checking out, fighting traffic on the way back to the airport, hunting around for parking, hoping your luggage isn’t overweight upon check-in, shuffling through security checkpoint lines, dashing out to the gate and narrowly making it onto the plane in time for departure. Therefore, to make the experience easy and enjoyable, I forgo the need for customers to return my cars professionally detailed, and instead I offer to charge a modest cleaning fee to remove normal levels of dirt and mess. The process is simple: Customers should select POST-TRIP CLEANING in the EXTRAS Section when booking. DISCLAIMER: 1) Due to the nature of Hawaii's tropical climate where the weather can change from clear and sunny to windy and rainy in minutes, it's not always possible for the vehicle to be delivered with a totally spotless exterior. Likewise, when returns made during periods of inclement weather it's understood that the exterior won't be in a freshly washed condition. 2) Cleaning Fee will not cover EXCESSIVELY dirty returns, which are subject to additional fees to be reimbursed after the vehicle is returned. EXCEPTION: As Host, I provide Guests a clean, fresh vehicle, UNLESS the Guest books a back-to-back reservation and accepts the vehicle in AS-IS condition. For more information on this exception and back-to-back booking, please refer to FAQ #6. Prevention is the best remedy, so please try to minimize the mess. The best way to do this is to make a conscientious effort to avoid getting the car dirty in the first place. Salt water and sand are the bane of island living, and particularly for Turo Hosts such as myself, who go to great lengths and spend a lot of money on detailing to keep my vehicles pristine in order to provide an outstanding rental experience to Guests. 80% of this effort is spent vacuuming sand from the carpet, seats and nooks and crannies inside the cabin. I ask you kindly, please keep in mind this is my PERSONAL vehicle and not a rental-fleet beater. Many guests have never experienced the beach and as such are not familiar with the downfalls of tropical island life. Please read the following guide I created to help Guests avoid getting charged a cleaning fee. BEACHES: Going directly from the beach into the vehicle without FIRST drying off and dusting your body, feet, footwear, beach gear AND shaking out towels of sand will surely cause a huge mess in the vehicle. You are PROHIBITED from getting in the vehicle soaking wet and/or sandy. Should you do this, when the seat cover dries, the salt water will stain and ruin them, and may soak through to the leather and/or other interior fabrics causing mold and rot, and sand will literally get everywhere. To avoid this, large beach towels are provided for you to dry off with. Microfiber cleaning cloths are provided at each door pocket to allow you to dust off any sand prior to re-entering the vehicle. Large plastic bags are provided in the convenience pack to place your wet clothes & footwear into. There is a storage compartment under the rear cargo floor in which you can place wet/soiled items. HIKING: Should you go hiking and the trails are muddy, you are REQUIRED to remove your soiled/wet shoes and clothing BEFORE re-entering the vehicle. You are PROHIBITED from getting in the car soaking wet/muddy/heavily soiled. Large towels are provided for you to dry off with and you are REQUIRED to place a CLEAN towel on the seats to protect the covers and leather from getting wet and soiled. Large plastic bags are provided in the convenience pack to place your muddy shoes and wet/dirty clothes into. There is a storage compartment under the rear cargo floor in which you can place wet/soiled items. NAVIGATING UNPAVED ROADS: Intentionally driving through mud or deep puddles will surely cause the mud and debris to be sprayed all over the hot undercarriage and cooked solid. If the vehicle is returned in this condition you will be charged for the undercarriage to be professionally power-washed and cleaned of debris.

  • How do I deal with parking citations, getting towed, impounded or receiving tickets for driving violations or other infractions?

    The Guest is responsible to operate and park the vehicle in a legal manner. Any tickets, fines, lost-parking stub, towing, or impound fees accrued will be billed to the Guest after trip completion. An additional $150 service fee will be applied for the retrieval of any towed or impounded vehicle. Guest is responsible to notify the Host of any citations received and to include them in the vehicle upon trip completion. Driving Offenses/Moving Violations are entirely the responsibility of the Driver. You'll need to refer to the issuing officer's instructions, information on the citation, contact the applicable Traffic Court listed on the citation, or consult an attorney for legal advice.

  • What to do if I'm involved in an accident?

    1) Make sure to stop in a safe area off the highway and out of the traffic (if possible). 2) Set the parking brake and turn on the Hazard Flashers. 3) Check on the condition of other occupants (if any) and contact 911 and ask for an ambulance if anyone is, or might be, seriously injured. 4) Check for oncoming traffic and safely exit the vehicle. Take note of any leaking fuel, smoke, flames, electrical lines, or objects that may shift or fall. 5) If there is a fire, evacuate occupants from the vehicle immediately and take shelter up-wind a safe distance away. 6) If you can safely access the cargo area, remove the Convenience Bin. Inside you'll find the First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Flashlight, Gloves, etc. Render first aid/CPR to victims if you are able to. 7) Check on the condition of any person(s) in other vehicle(s) involved in the accident (if any). 8) When responding Police/Emergency Services arrive, follow their instructions. Provide them the Vehicle Registration and Insurance Information contained in the Yellow Pouch in the glove box. 9) Take pictures of the damage to the vehicle, injured parties and any other vehicles or occupants, the overall scene of the accident, and take pictures of the other drivers' Driver's License, Vehicle Registration and Insurance (if applicable). Also take pictures of the Police Report or Incident Card given to you after the investigation is completed. 10) Contact the Host as soon as practical, and provide as much information regarding the accident as possible. Provide Host with the pictures of the accident, Police Reports, other involved vehicles and other driver’s information.

  • How can I add another driver?

    You will need to go onto the Turo App to input the additional driver’s information. The additional driver must still meet Turo’s requirements. They must possess a valid driver’s license in their home location, AND be a minimum of 21 years old or subject to additional fees. Guest must decide which driver will be considered as Primary Driver on the reservation. Turo will process the request and approve/disapprove the additional driver according to their internal guidelines. Once approved Guests are to provide two Verification photos for EACH additional driver: One showing their valid license, and the other showing the Driver holding their license next to their face. Approval of additional drivers AND receipt of the Verification photos must be done PRIOR to starting the trip. Guests can upload these photos to via the Turo App, or email them directly to the Host: call4cleanhawaii@gmail.com

  • Can I remove the hard-top cover panels?

    YES, However, if you will be planning to remove the front row hard top cover panels during your trip, then you must NOTIFY ME WHEN BOOKING so that I will include the hard-top storage bag. Otherwise, removal of the front row hard-top cover panels are PROHIBITED to preclude damaging or misplacing them. Should the Guest rent the vehicle during a period of rainy weather, they are asked to keep the hard-top cover panels on. Removal of the REAR hard-top cover panels is PROHIBITED due to the following: 1) It is a large and cumbersome item, requiring two people to carry. 2) It lacks a protective storage bag and has no temporary support stand. 3) It requires tools to remove the attachment hardware. 4) The attachment hardware and tools are easily lost or misplaced 5) Failure to correctly install the attachment hardware or cover panels may damage the vehicle and/or cause leaks. 6) The hard-top cover panels are EXTREMELY FRAGILE and VERY EXPENSIVE!! The guest assumes ALL responsibility for any hard-top cover panel removal as noted in the CAR GUIDE. See also FAQ #12 for Rules of Use and Prohibited Activities regarding the rental of this vehicle.

  • What are the Rules of Use and Prohibited Activities?

    ***For Liability Reasons Please Read Carefully*** By renting this vehicle you Agree that the following are PROHIBITED: Smoking and Vaping inside the vehicle. Pets and Service Animals inside the vehicle. Off-Roading. Rock-Crawling. Removing any of the body panels (except front row hard-top covers). These would include: rear hard top, windshield, left and right side doors. Driving directly onto the beach, or into the ocean. Crossing rivers or streams. Driving onto or through protected wildlife habitats. Attempting to drive over/across/through anything not approved/intended for public travel or normal passenger car use. Driving through deep puddles, ditches, bogs, ruts. Driving on private roads/private lands. Driving into restricted areas. Towing or Pushing other vehicles. Trailer towing. Racing (on or off-road) or, racing the vehicle at the Raceway Park. Also, I strongly suggest that you not eat inside the vehicle to preclude spills and mess from occurring. I would advise against leaving valuables in the vehicle when parked and unattended. Guest assumes ALL liability if the hard-top cover panels are removed. This would include: -Damaging the hard-top cover panels during removal, storage or installation. -Damage to the vehicle or paint during hard-top cover panel removal or installation. -Damage to the vehicle interior caused by rain, dirt & debris, bird droppings, tree sap/nuts/leaves. -Vandalism or theft of vehicle contents. -Vandalism or theft of Guest personal belongings. -Theft or Loss of the hard-top attachement hardware or tools. -Theft or Loss of the hard-top cover panels after removal. -Theft of the vehicle. -Personal injury due to hard-top panel removal/reinstallation.

The Jeep was really nice! Lots of cool features. Nicholas was a little late on giving me the information where he parked the car. When he told me I’d have the information before the pick up time. On top of that, it was not discussed that we were going to be paying for parking for the pick up. Other than that, we had no issues. Jeep was nice and new.

Rented Nick's Jeep Wrangler for our trip to Oahu and was a great choice. Very nice vehicle and made our travels around the island very enjoyable. The extras he provided in regards to a cooler and some beach gear was an added bonus. Would highly recommend renting this vehicle and renting from Nick!

This car is staged for you curbside in a quiet residential neighborhood a short distance from the heart of Waikiki and just minutes from the main freeway for convenient access. All the specific information on the address and location of the vehicle, plus a few simple pickup instructions will be sent to you upon booking. If you would like to arrange for the vehicle to be staged for you at an exact location, ready for you at the airport terminal public parking structure, or for valet delivery to your Hotel, or if you wish to have a different return location; please contact the Host in advance to ask about pricing, and to schedule a custom delivery or return.

Guidelines

Vehicle MUST be returned to the pickup location unless prior arrangements have been made BEFORE BOOKING. For booking availability, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions Section (FAQ) #1 thru #5. An additional $50 Service charge will apply if the vehicle is returned by the Guest to any location that is not pre-approved by the Host. You can request this in advance via the EXTRA One-Way Trip option. Otherwise, you will receive a request for reimbursement after completing your trip. Requests for early pickup, late return, or any change to booking times/dates must be cleared with Host in advance THEN the Guest must modify the booking via the Turo App. Per Turo policy, all of my vehicles are delivered to Guests clean inside and out and likewise, Turo expects Guests to return vehicles in same condition as received, with a minimum amount of soiling and mess. Guests are encouraged to select POST-TRIP CLEANING in the EXTRAS section when booking. I ask you kindly, please keep in mind this is my PERSONAL vehicle and not a rental-fleet beater. Guests who return the vehicle excessively dirty will be charged an additional fee. Please refer to FAQ #7. Please contact me prior to booking if you have any questions regarding this. If you will be planning to remove the front row hard top cover panels during your trip, then you must NOTIFY ME WHEN BOOKING so that I will include the hard-top storage bag.   • Can I book a DIFFERENT delivery and return location?

    YES. By default, Turo does not make this a very intuitive operation, but it is certainly possible to do so with a few additional steps. FIRST go to the EXTRAS Section and select 1-WAY TRIP. NEXT, input your desired location address for PICKUP, then finalize all your trip details and submit your application to complete your reservation. LAST, go back into your reservation and request a TRIP MODIFICATION. From here, enter your desired RETURN address. Submit your modified booking request. From here, Turo will send me a prompt to accept your request to have a different return address. I will accept your request and the process is complete.

  • What Times can I book delivery & return at the HOST's Location?

    Booking hours at HOST's Location (10 minutes from Honolulu Airport): Time of DELIVERY - ANY Time of RETURN - ANY* This is a great alternative for the Guest for pickup and return by using Uber or taxi from Honolulu Airport, and is available option 24/7 with a minimum of 1-day advanced notice. Any changes Guests wish to make to scheduled DELIVERY times/dates must be made in advance via the Turo App, under MODIFY TRIP in order for the Host to accommodate them (if possible). *If the Guest needs to return the vehicle early, please give notification to HOST via Turo app/Text message as soon as possible BEFORE return. Guests returning the vehicle more than 30 minutes late are subject to additional charges by Turo. Please contact me if you have any questions about delivery & return options.

  • What Times can I book delivery & return at the Honolulu Airport?

    Honolulu Airport: Time of DELIVERY - ANY* Time of RETURN - ANY** *Delivery will occur per the availability of the Host during a window from 9:00AM to 9:00PM. The vehicle will be staged for unattended pick-up in one of the Airport parking structures as close to the Guest's scheduled pick-up time as is practicable by the Host. Guest understands that the vehicle will accrue hourly parking fees. These fees *usually* range from $10 to $20. Please note that IF the Guest schedules a pick-up time outside of the Host's delivery window of 9:00AM to 9:00PM, the vehicle will be delivered in the PRIOR window of availability. For example: Should the Guest's early-bird flight arrive at 5:00AM, and the Guest schedules pick-up for 5:30AM, the Host will deliver the vehicle at latest by 9:00PM the night before, and thereby accrue a minimum 9 hours of parking fees. (Parking fees are charged on whole hours after the first hour.) A good alternative for late-night/early-bird arrival times might be for the Guest to book the pickup at the HOST's LOCATION and using Uber or taxi from Honolulu Airport to pick up the vehicle. This option will typically cost LESS overall than choosing Airport delivery due to the parking fees there. OR, the Guest could consider booking the vehicle delivery DIRECTLY to their chosen Hotel, then arrive there by using the Hotel Shuttle (if provided), or by an Uber or taxi from the Airport. Least attractive, but still available as an option, the Guest might opt to book the earliest Airport delivery at 9:00AM and simply wait after their 5:00AM arrival. **On the return portion of the trip, Guest agrees not to return the vehicle more than 2 hours ahead of Scheduled Return Time to avoid excessive parking fees for Host. Guests who return the vehicle more than 30 minutes late are subject to additional charges by Turo. Any changes Guest wishes to make to scheduled DELIVERY times/dates must be made in advance via the Turo App, under MODIFY TRIP in order for the Host to accommodate them (if possible). If the Guest needs to return the vehicle early, please give notification to HOST via Turo app/Text message as soon as possible BEFORE return.   • Can I book an Overnight/1-day Rental?

    YES. If you book an Overnight/1-day Rental, I can normally accommodate your itinerary. Keep in mind, due to my busy work schedule it sometimes may not be possible. However, I'll do my best to get the car to you. For reservations occurring Monday through Thursday I will charge 2X the daily rate because it's very inconvenient for me to prepare, deliver and pick up the car during the work-week, particularly with back-to-back Overnight/1-day rentals. Also, due to Guest ability to instantly book trips without my approval, it can occasionally cause back-to-back reservations with zero time in-between to allow for cleaning & delivery. In these instances, the latest booking Guest will be notified and asked to modify their reservation dates/times. The Guest may optionally accept to receive the vehicle AS-IS (un-prepped) from the previous customer, provided, I can accommodate the Guest’s desired reservation times with respect to pick up & delivery time/location. Guests who cannot accept these Terms & Conditions may cancel their reservation.

  • How do I clean the car prior to return?

    Per policy, all of my vehicles are delivered to Guests clean inside and out and likewise, Turo expects Guests to return vehicles in same condition as received, with a minimum amount of soiling and mess. Guests are encouraged to select POST-TRIP CLEANING in the EXTRAS section when booking. BACKGROUND: Per Turo policy, all of my vehicles are delivered to Guests clean inside and out and likewise, Turo expects Guests to return vehicles in same condition as received, with a minimum amount of soiling and mess. In my experience as a Host, this is often impossible for the Guest to accomplish by simply dusting off the floor mats at the corner gas station. Simply put, trips to the beach, exploration of hiking trails and visits to scenic points will assuredly introduce LOTS of sand, dirt, mud and other debris onto the exterior, the floor mats, seats, carpet, door panels, dash and windows that require tedious amounts of vaccuuming, scrubbing and buffing in order to restore the As-delivered condition. Guests with young children can factor in the additional mess that they can expect them to create on every surface they contact. This is definitely not a responsibility that anyone wants to worry about while on vacation. It’s also not lost on me that most customers would prefer to avoid the additional hassle and labor of cleaning the car themselves. The alternative of booking an expensive appointment to have the car detailed, and then spending the same amount of valuable vacation time waiting around half the day for the car to be detailed is equally unattractive to customers, when there is so much else to do prior to conclusion of their trip. I’m fully aware that in many cases the last day of a trip is a hectic scramble of packing, checking out, fighting traffic on the way back to the airport, hunting around for parking, hoping your luggage isn’t overweight upon check-in, shuffling through security checkpoint lines, dashing out to the gate and narrowly making it onto the plane in time for departure. Therefore, to make the experience easy and enjoyable, I forgo the need for customers to return my cars professionally detailed, and instead I offer to charge a modest cleaning fee to remove normal levels of dirt and mess. The process is simple: Customers should select POST-TRIP CLEANING in the EXTRAS Section when booking. DISCLAIMER: 1) Due to the nature of Hawaii's tropical climate where the weather can change from clear and sunny to windy and rainy in minutes, it's not always possible for the vehicle to be delivered with a totally spotless exterior. Likewise, when returns made during periods of inclement weather it's understood that the exterior won't be in a freshly washed condition. 2) Cleaning Fee will not cover EXCESSIVELY dirty returns, which are subject to additional fees to be reimbursed after the vehicle is returned. EXCEPTION: As Host, I provide Guests a clean, fresh vehicle, UNLESS the Guest books a back-to-back reservation and accepts the vehicle in AS-IS condition. For more information on this exception and back-to-back booking, please refer to FAQ #6. Prevention is the best remedy, so please try to minimize the mess. The best way to do this is to make a conscientious effort to avoid getting the car dirty in the first place. Salt water and sand are the bane of island living, and particularly for Turo Hosts such as myself, who go to great lengths and spend a lot of money on detailing to keep my vehicles pristine in order to provide an outstanding rental experience to Guests. 80% of this effort is spent vacuuming sand from the carpet, seats and nooks and crannies inside the cabin. I ask you kindly, please keep in mind this is my PERSONAL vehicle and not a rental-fleet beater. Many guests have never experienced the beach and as such are not familiar with the downfalls of tropical island life. Please read the following guide I created to help Guests avoid getting charged a cleaning fee. BEACHES: Going directly from the beach into the vehicle without FIRST drying off and dusting your body, feet, footwear, beach gear AND shaking out towels of sand will surely cause a huge mess in the vehicle. You are PROHIBITED from getting in the vehicle soaking wet and/or sandy. Should you do this, when the seat cover dries, the salt water will stain and ruin them, and may soak through to the leather and/or other interior fabrics causing mold and rot, and sand will literally get everywhere. To avoid this, large beach towels are provided for you to dry off with. Microfiber cleaning cloths are provided at each door pocket to allow you to dust off any sand prior to re-entering the vehicle. Large plastic bags are provided in the convenience pack to place your wet clothes & footwear into. There is a storage compartment under the rear cargo floor in which you can place wet/soiled items. HIKING: Should you go hiking and the trails are muddy, you are REQUIRED to remove your soiled/wet shoes and clothing BEFORE re-entering the vehicle. You are PROHIBITED from getting in the car soaking wet/muddy/heavily soiled. Large towels are provided for you to dry off with and you are REQUIRED to place a CLEAN towel on the seats to protect the covers and leather from getting wet and soiled. Large plastic bags are provided in the convenience pack to place your muddy shoes and wet/dirty clothes into. There is a storage compartment under the rear cargo floor in which you can place wet/soiled items. NAVIGATING UNPAVED ROADS: Intentionally driving through mud or deep puddles will surely cause the mud and debris to be sprayed all over the hot undercarriage and cooked solid. If the vehicle is returned in this condition you will be charged for the undercarriage to be professionally power-washed and cleaned of debris.

  • How do I deal with parking citations, getting towed, impounded or receiving tickets for driving violations or other infractions?

    The Guest is responsible to operate and park the vehicle in a legal manner. Any tickets, fines, lost-parking stub, towing, or impound fees accrued will be billed to the Guest after trip completion. An additional $150 service fee will be applied for the retrieval of any towed or impounded vehicle. Guest is responsible to notify the Host of any citations received and to include them in the vehicle upon trip completion. Driving Offenses/Moving Violations are entirely the responsibility of the Driver. You'll need to refer to the issuing officer's instructions, information on the citation, contact the applicable Traffic Court listed on the citation, or consult an attorney for legal advice.

  • What to do if I'm involved in an accident?

    1) Make sure to stop in a safe area off the highway and out of the traffic (if possible). 2) Set the parking brake and turn on the Hazard Flashers. 3) Check on the condition of other occupants (if any) and contact 911 and ask for an ambulance if anyone is, or might be, seriously injured. 4) Check for oncoming traffic and safely exit the vehicle. Take note of any leaking fuel, smoke, flames, electrical lines, or objects that may shift or fall. 5) If there is a fire, evacuate occupants from the vehicle immediately and take shelter up-wind a safe distance away. 6) If you can safely access the cargo area, remove the Convenience Bin. Inside you'll find the First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Flashlight, Gloves, etc. Render first aid/CPR to victims if you are able to. 7) Check on the condition of any person(s) in other vehicle(s) involved in the accident (if any). 8) When responding Police/Emergency Services arrive, follow their instructions. Provide them the Vehicle Registration and Insurance Information contained in the Yellow Pouch in the glove box. 9) Take pictures of the damage to the vehicle, injured parties and any other vehicles or occupants, the overall scene of the accident, and take pictures of the other drivers' Driver's License, Vehicle Registration and Insurance (if applicable). Also take pictures of the Police Report or Incident Card given to you after the investigation is completed. 10) Contact the Host as soon as practical, and provide as much information regarding the accident as possible. Provide Host with the pictures of the accident, Police Reports, other involved vehicles and other driver’s information.

  • How can I add another driver?

    You will need to go onto the Turo App to input the additional driver’s information. The additional driver must still meet Turo’s requirements. They must possess a valid driver’s license in their home location, AND be a minimum of 21 years old or subject to additional fees. Guest must decide which driver will be considered as Primary Driver on the reservation. Turo will process the request and approve/disapprove the additional driver according to their internal guidelines. Once approved Guests are to provide two Verification photos for EACH additional driver: One showing their valid license, and the other showing the Driver holding their license next to their face. Approval of additional drivers AND receipt of the Verification photos must be done PRIOR to starting the trip. Guests can upload these photos to via the Turo App, or email them directly to the Host: call4cleanhawaii@gmail.com

  • Can I remove the hard-top cover panels?

    YES, However, if you will be planning to remove the front row hard top cover panels during your trip, then you must NOTIFY ME WHEN BOOKING so that I will include the hard-top storage bag. Otherwise, removal of the front row hard-top cover panels are PROHIBITED to preclude damaging or misplacing them. Should the Guest rent the vehicle during a period of rainy weather, they are asked to keep the hard-top cover panels on. Removal of the REAR hard-top cover panels is PROHIBITED due to the following: 1) It is a large and cumbersome item, requiring two people to carry. 2) It lacks a protective storage bag and has no temporary support stand. 3) It requires tools to remove the attachment hardware. 4) The attachment hardware and tools are easily lost or misplaced 5) Failure to correctly install the attachment hardware or cover panels may damage the vehicle and/or cause leaks. 6) The hard-top cover panels are EXTREMELY FRAGILE and VERY EXPENSIVE!! The guest assumes ALL responsibility for any hard-top cover panel removal as noted in the CAR GUIDE. See also FAQ #12 for Rules of Use and Prohibited Activities regarding the rental of this vehicle.

  • What are the Rules of Use and Prohibited Activities?

    ***For Liability Reasons Please Read Carefully*** By renting this vehicle you Agree that the following are PROHIBITED: Smoking and Vaping inside the vehicle. Pets and Service Animals inside the vehicle. Off-Roading. Rock-Crawling. Removing any of the body panels (except front row hard-top covers). These would include: rear hard top, windshield, left and right side doors. Driving directly onto the beach, or into the ocean. Crossing rivers or streams. Driving onto or through protected wildlife habitats. Attempting to drive over/across/through anything not approved/intended for public travel or normal passenger car use. Driving through deep puddles, ditches, bogs, ruts. Driving on private roads/private lands. Driving into restricted areas. Towing or Pushing other vehicles. Trailer towing. Racing (on or off-road) or, racing the vehicle at the Raceway Park. Also, I strongly suggest that you not eat inside the vehicle to preclude spills and mess from occurring. I would advise against leaving valuables in the vehicle when parked and unattended. Guest assumes ALL liability if the hard-top cover panels are removed. This would include: -Damaging the hard-top cover panels during removal, storage or installation. -Damage to the vehicle or paint during hard-top cover panel removal or installation. -Damage to the vehicle interior caused by rain, dirt & debris, bird droppings, tree sap/nuts/leaves. -Vandalism or theft of vehicle contents. -Vandalism or theft of Guest personal belongings. -Theft or Loss of the hard-top attachement hardware or tools. -Theft or Loss of the hard-top cover panels after removal. -Theft of the vehicle. -Personal injury due to hard-top panel removal/reinstallation.

The Jeep was really nice! Lots of cool features. Nicholas was a little late on giving me the information where he parked the car. When he told me I’d have the information before the pick up time. On top of that, it was not discussed that we were going to be paying for parking for the pick up. Other than that, we had no issues. Jeep was nice and new.

Rented Nick's Jeep Wrangler for our trip to Oahu and was a great choice. Very nice vehicle and made our travels around the island very enjoyable. The extras he provided in regards to a cooler and some beach gear was an added bonus. Would highly recommend renting this vehicle and renting from Nick!
