It was dark and raining when I picked up the car. Dor was away on a family vacation when my trip began. I had questions about some minor damage to the car that was present when I picked up the vehicle. Also, It may have been because he was out of town but the car had not been cleaned. There was mud on the mat on the driver’s side and sand, crumbs, etc throughout as well as a snorkel that was left on the floor in back. An icon on the dash indicated that there were tires that needed air- not really a problem once I realized what it was. It was several days later before I was finally able to talk to Dor by phone. Until then I was quite concerned that I might be blamed for these problems - I was at the point of calling Toro for help when he called and clarified that the drivers side door handle on the outside was missing and had been ordered, and the front fender damage was existing prior to my rental. He did not address the problem of the car being dirty other than to apologize. I still don’t know if he left someone else to take care of turning over his cars between rentals when he was away, or if he was just hoping things would just somehow work out?? We were part of a family group of 18 but my husband and I were the only 2 ever in the car as it was not comfortable with the door not opening except by reaching through the drivers window- also inconvenient at Cosco’s, and the general condition of the car. We used the car as needed and I thought long about how to review our experience- I always read and evaluate reviews and feel responsible about being honest about our experience. Dor assures me that this not his usual way of doing business and that he will be sure that this will not happen again. I did ask for a partial refund as an acknowledgment that we did not get what we should have for the money we paid for this car- but that was not actually addressed as a possible option. I wish Dor well with his business, and hope he will live up to his promise to not let this happen again, and to his super host status at Toro. I have learned that if I use Toro again I will ask more questions -assuming there’s a way to do that before payment is made. My experience was disappointing, but in the end we had a nice vacation in Maui, and the car did what we needed it to do.

Reliable vehicle got us everywhere we needed to be. There was a door handle missing but with two people it wasn't an issue at all.

Dor was great! Vehicle worked extremely well, and held up on the road to Hana no issues! Great on gas! Some minor cosmetic blemishes but awesome car. Would ride with Dor again!

Other then the smell in the car that was literally stuck in there and would have to air out before every ride we took plus a missing door handle that prevented my passenger from entering the vehicle it was a legit car that got you from A to B if it were possible to fix those things this would been 5 star rate🤙minus the bumps and scratches and missing front lic plate for which I got pulled over for😒

Great car to get around in. Fit our family of 5 perfectly. Easy and quick access at the airport.
