-I lease parking spaces at this location (Somerset Auto Sales) near the airport. My spaces are marked with signs on the right side of the entrance road, outside of the gate of Somerset Auto Sales. Please **DO NOT** come into the office. Contact me on the app with any questions. -During business hours: Car will be in the parking area ready to go. -Returns: Please leave the car UNLOCKED with the key LOCKED in the lock box. It is a well-lighted, secure facility with security cameras. -After Hours returns: PLEASE DO NOT BLOCK THE MAIN ENTRANCE! USE THE PARKING SPACES
Guidelines
***GUIDELINES/POSSIBLE FEES*** - Bring/Upload a VALID ID that matches your name on this account or we cannot legally give you the vehicle. - Add any other drivers that will be driving the vehicle on the TURO App - LATE RETURNS: If you need more time, you can request an extension. If an extension is not made, Turo will simply calculate the cost of your additional usage based on your return time. So, if you want to extend the trip, use the Turo app to check if the car is available. If it is, request a change through the app and I'll accept right away. - MILE OVERAGE: Fee: See fee for each mile the car is over the allotted mileage. - SMOKING: Fee: $150 cleaning fee. Avoidance: As with all rental cars there is NO SMOKING allowed inside the vehicles. Please try to smoke outside the vehicle to avoid these extra charges. There is no smoking or using of cannabis (crumbles fallen on the floor has a strong smell) in this car and a $150 cleaning fee will be added to the trip if there is smoking/cannabis smell. De-smoking requires a vehicle be taken out of service for up to 24-hours so it can be cleaned with a natural deodorizer and an oxidation process. - PETS: Fee: $150.00 cleaning fee. Avoidance: People have allergies and pets can cause them. No pets are allowed in the vehicles. I am ok with pets in a carrier coming to/from the airport. Just let me know. - CLEANLINESS: Fee $30-150 Avoidance: All we ask is the vehicle comes back as clean as we have given it to you to avoid any cleaning charges. One Item I highly suggest the renter add from the Extras is the post trip cleaning ($12-$30 depending on car). This is a great way to save time at the end of the trip so you can skip the cleaning process. There can be up to a large cleaning fee if excessively dirty with multiple cleaning issues (i.e. smoking, pet hair, stains, etc.) - Full Tank of Gas: Just like the title states to avoid gas charges through TURO. I’m giving you a car topped off in the last 5 miles - you’ll see it’s above the F mark. When you return, you should give it back to me the same way. If i see that it’s lower than the F I’m going to go to the gas station and fill it and you’ll be billed. Rarely it may have less than a full tank; return with just as much fuel as it had when you started. You will absolutely enjoy this experience! Do I have to pay tolls?
Yes, but not out of your pocket at toll booths. Use the SunPass lane. SunPass charges my credit card, so your tolls will be reimbursed to me after your trip. I will add up your tolls, send receipts and ask for reimbursement a day or so after your trip.
Am I responsible for cleaning the car before I return it?
From Turo: Yes, unless you choost the post trip cleaning option. With Turo, you’re not just getting any old rental car; you’re getting a car that’s part of a personal story, not a fleet. We therefore expect travelers to take care of the car as if it were their own. Cars should be returned in the same condition they were received. Whether you’re coming back from a coastal getaway or a month-long road trip, we hope you’ll remember to shake out the sand and any crumbs you may have dropped so the car is just as tidy as when you first picked it up. If you return the car in a noticeably dirtier condition and the owner notifies us, you may incur a cleaning fee.

I was skeptical but I needed to rent a car last minute and traditional car rentals were sold out for busy week. I was referred by my daughter to Turo. I chose this Honda Pilot because I knew I might need to buy and delivered a dining room table for our new Condo. The Honda looked and drove fine, nothing fancy, a little worn in spots and a few rattles, very normal for a 10 year old car. My host communicated great and put me at ease. He left the car at the airport at 10;30 at night, and after I sent him photos of me, my license and the car through the app, I was off and running in about 4 minutes. There were other hosts that had newer and nicer cars but this car was just what I needed and it was great experience.

The process of getting the car to dropping it off was easy and clear. Way better than any rental car experience! Thank you so much! Will definitely use again in future!
