The multi-data Heads-up display is dimmable and GPS-informed. Neither smoking nor pets are allowed. I commit to my renters professionalism, timely responsiveness, and efficient and flexible transactions. Airport delivery is available for a fee (primarily to offset the airport fees Turo charges me). I deliver to Uptown Charlotte (inside I-277) locations for a small fee (to cover my transportation), and I'm happy to deliver to/pick up from other custom locations at a fee of $50 up to 5 miles and $110 up to 10 miles. Child car seats are absolutely allowed. However, as the seats are leather, I request that you please utilize the seat protecting covers (located in the rear cargo hold) underneath your child's seat. Two covers are provided but I am happy to provide more at your request. Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or tobacco use. No animals. (Please see FAQ #2 above.)

  • Do you allow pets?

    Licensed Service Animals are permitted. In general, no, pets are not allowed in this vehicle. I am happy to consider special circumstance needs but do not guarantee exceptions to this. You will be required to pay a $200 penalty if any unauthorized animals are in this vehicle during your Rental period.

  • Can I smoke in your vehicle?

    Tobacco products of any variety are not allowed in this vehicle. Nor is smoking or vaping of any substance. You will be required to pay a $200 penalty if you or any of your passengers/guests do not abide by these rules.

My introduction to Turo as a new user didn’t quite go as expected. The initial reservation for a truck, crucial for an important trip, fell through when the original renter abruptly cancelled, citing issues with the price stated in the description. This caught me off guard and left me in a tight spot, as time was limited and it was my first time using the platform.

After reaching out to customer service, I was informed that the refund process would take up to 5 business days, which was far from reassuring. To compound matters, when I called the first representative to express my frustration over the broken commitment, my level of annoyance was such that I had to hang up the phone.

However, my experience took an unexpected turn during my second call to Turo. The second person I spoke with extended sincere apologies for the situation and went above and beyond to find a solution.

Their approach made a world of difference. Despite limited options within my budget, the representative suggested looking for alternatives and, to my astonishment, offered to cover the additional cost required. This action exceeded all my expectations and demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

The outcome was astounding: Turo covered the extra $700 needed to rent another vehicle, and I was finally able to embark on my journey. Despite a complicated and frustrating start, I deeply appreciate the effort and dedication of the second representative in effectively resolving the situation.

My experience with Turo was an emotional roller coaster. While the initial cancellation and lack of assistance from the first representative were disappointing, the commitment and resolution from the second person I spoke to were truly impressive. This turnaround showcased the power of proactive and dedicated customer service. Despite the initial hurdles, I’m willing to give Turo another chance in the future, trusting that their commitment to customer satisfaction remains strong.
