Description

This fully loaded Tesla Model X P100DL with Ludicrous + mode and autopilot 1.0 This Tesla Model X checks all the boxes: FAST (0-60 in 2.9 seconds), quiet, smooth, efficient, safe, spacious (front and rear trunks), and of course beautiful! Why pay more to rent a slower Tesla with less range? This vehicle has dual motors (all wheel drive) the large 100 kWh battery, 7-seats, and those beautiful 22" Onyx wheels (just about every other Model X on Turo in San Diego has the silver or grey 20" wheels, don't be fooled!)! It also comes with (3) different charge adapters to give you the greatest flexibility in charging if you're staying at a home or Airbnb that might have a 220/240 volt outlet in the garage. This alone can save you lots of time by being able to charge the vehicle while you sleep, instead of having to make a side trip to a Supercharger. With Autopilot, you'll arrive at your destination much more refreshed, as the vehicle can do much of the work for you on the freeway, whether it is in stop and go traffic, or while zipping past all of the other vehicles while you're in the HOV lane (new purple stickers are on the vehicle for solo occupant driving, make sure others don't still have the expired white ones). Think of Autopilot as cruise control on steroids, where the car keeps within the lane, and a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you. Please note, this is not autonomous driving, the driver is ultimately responsible for being in control of the vehicle. With approximately 250 to 290 miles on a full charge (range depends on driving style, speed, outside temperature and climate control), and free access to the more than 120 Supercharger locations in California, 20 in Arizona, 17 in Nevada and hundreds of more outside of the Southwest, range anxiety is not an issue, and you may not have to spend a penny on fuel! The vehicle will arrive to you charged, detailed, and with phone charging cables (Apple Lightning, Micro-USB, and USB-C) for your convenience. Also, a complimentary adhesive metal disc that you can apply to the back of your phone is yours to keep, so you can utilize the magnetic phone dash mount. Other amenities: Navigation with real time Google Traffic information Ventilated Front Seats 7-seat configuration - The 2 rear seats can fold down for more storage Sub-Zero Package (all 7 seats are heated, as is the steering wheel) Premium Audio (17 speakers including the subwoofer) 22" Onyx Wheels Smart Air Suspension All-Wheel Drive BioWeapon Defense Mode Cabin HEPA Filtration Internet Radio with voice commands ("Play Imagine Dragons") For a walkthrough of the Model X, please visit https://www.tesla. The vehicle will be photographed before/after each trip. Any noticeable scrapes or dents will incur a repair fee. No smoking/marijuana/fragrance/air fresheners, any lingering smell will be reported to Turo and charged up to $250

Guidelines

Sorry no pets, no smoking, & no vaping, please. Car will be delivery with a 75%+ charge, please be sure to return the vehicle with at least 70% charge (~200+ miles of range), otherwise a $50 recharging fee will apply. Or simply pre pay for the charging and we'll take care of it, please leave us with at least 20% in order to make it to a charger or you may be charged a towing fee. No food or any beverages inside of the vehicle (except water), any stains will result in the deep cleaning fee. Hand washes only. Never put it through an automatic wash, it will damage the vinyl wrap causing additional fees to be charged. You will receive washed and vacuumed vehicle at the beginning of the trip. If you don't have time to wash it, op for the prepaid cleaning. Please note if it's not returned in clean condition there will be an additional charge for car washing service.

Faqs

  • How do I charge a Tesla?

The great thing about a Tesla is that there are many convenient ways to charge it. If you plan on road tripping in California, Arizona, or Nevada, the free Supercharger network has you covered, and can get you from empty to full in about an hour, with the navigation system routing you to the best charger(s) for your trip simply by entering your final destination: https://www.tesla.com/findus#/bounds/35.8092361,-114.13121100000001,32.528832,-121.43817590000003?search=supercharger Please note that although this vehicle includes free Supercharging, Tesla does charge a fee of $1.00 per minute if your vehicle stays plugged in after charging is complete, so please be sure to move the vehicle once done. Any idle fees that I am charged for will need to be reimbursed. If you will be staying at a local hotel or resort, there is a good chance they already have a Tesla Destination Charger there, which can get you from empty to 80% in about 5-8 hours: (At most hotels there is no fee for their guests): https://www.tesla.com/findus#/bounds/33.114249,-116.90816000000001,32.534856,-117.30979689999998?search=destination%20charger, The vehicle comes with the J1772 adapter so you can plug into one of the 100's of public charging stations in town (typically about 12 hours to go from empty to full, and there may be charge): https://www.plugshare.com/?latitude=32.892476&longitude=-117.472100&spanLat=0.100000&spanLng=2 If you'll be staying at a house that perhaps has a common 240 volt outlet installed in the garage for a dryer or RV, I have included numerous adapters which may allow you to charge there. Even if you only have access to a standard 120V outlet, the vehicle can charge from it, though somewhat slowly. Please be sure to return the vehicle with at least 70% charge (~200 miles of range), otherwise a $50 refueling fee will apply. Or simply pre pay for the charging and we'll take care of it, please leave us with at least 20% in order to make it to a charger or you may be charged a towing fee.

  • What happens if I scrape a wheel on a curb? (Curb Rash)

The 22" wheels are beautiful and roll on low profile tires. As a result, if you tap a curb while parking, there is little rubber to protect the wheel. Fortunately, this vehicle has auto tilting mirrors, so when you are parallel parking, the outside mirrors tilt down, allowing you to see exactly how close you are to the curb, which really helps minimize the chances of touching the curb. Should you get curb rash on one of the wheels, my cost to repair each wheel is $150, which you will be charged and reimbursement will be requested through Turo.

  • How does Autopilot work?

The best demonstration I could find: https://youtu.be/AiOxUcDgsa8?t=64 Autopilot is powerful, but the driver is ultimately in control of the vehicle and needs to take over if necessary. Just as you would not use cruise control on surface streets, Autopilot should be reserved for freeway use only.
