The car was great, but communication regarding picking up from the airport parking and dropping off was not easy, in fact extremely stressful. When we arrived at the airport at 5 PM to pick up the car, the parking ticket at the airport was $22 as it was placed in the space at 6:23 AM. The charge is $4 u to 1 hour, $8 up to 2 hours. I shared this info and I was told parking is $22 for all day and that is what I would pay which I did.
I sent communication ahead of time (before even arrival) about the change in my flight time on return, but no reply. I needed to upload pictures of where I dropped the car off (which in itself is hard as I was in a rush after dropping off my friends at the airport for check-in, trying to make it on time). I sent the pictures as a text that Justin who obviously did not receive them. I received a message from him much later saying they did not receive the car. In the middle of my very stressful day at work at my return, several hours after I left it at the parking lot, I was trying to send messages and still have not received a confirmation about the status of the car.
I have never had issues in my several prior Turo trips. In most cases, cars are brought to me and picked up from the airport. O'Hare is huge and finding the car, key, being stressed about leaving the car and the key is a huge responsibility and unnecessary stress. Not getting return messages and being left on air is even more stressful. My only unstaisfactory Turo trip.

SHE SENT HER MESSAGES AND THE PHOTOS TO THE WRONG PHONE NUMBER. Pretty obvious why we wouldn’t respond and reach out asking where the vehicle was returned to. Please read the greeting message that we send to EVERY guest immediately after booking. We disclose everything about parking process/costs. This all could’ve been avoided if she read the message and canceled. We understand we can not please everyone but please know we do our absolute best to make the process easy

First time Turo customer here - My first booking cancelled as I was getting ready to board my flight. Called Turo customer service and they found this amazing host that accommodated a rental for my arrival same day. Being a first time Turo customer, first time flyer, and first time traveling to Chicago, I panicked but this host and Turo saved the day!! Thank you!!
