Please know the pick up location is about 35 mins south of Boston Logan Airport, in a residential neighborhood. The car is not in perfect condition. The owner had to show me how to add power steering fluid to the car, which I had to do during the time I had the vehicle. The rear tailgate door did not close properly and subsequently caused the glass to shatter because it fell off of the rusty hydraulic rod. I was not able to see the rust during pick up and I did not decline the car at pick up because I was nowhere near another rental car company being so far away from Boston proper. There’s another renter that left similar message about the rear door. I should have read all the reviews before renting - my fault. I hope future customers read this before renting. The only upside of this was that the owner’s husband was reasonable and nice. The owner, not so much.

You destroyed my car after we rented it to you in excellent condition. You took no ownership. Thirty two people rented the car with no problem but you the only person to destroy it with over thirty suitcases,,.. we helped you so much and you broke the vehicle glass and refuse to take responsibility as a human being. I applaud your ability to do the right thing in the present of your child for the future.

Picking up and dropping off smooth. Huge car, premium gas was very expensive. Key was finicky and sometimes needed to be flipped to start. Overall, served our needs and was true as advertised.
