COVID19 update: all my cars still available for rent. They are wiped down with disinfectant between each rental. Rentals have also diminished so there is downtime between rentals, enough time passes for any virus to die off on hard surfaces between rentals. Please feel free to ask which cars I have that have not been rented most recently to minimize any risk of contagion. While renting please follow all recommended guidelines and use hand disinfectant before and after touching any surfaces. Amazing, Stylish, comfortable RAV 4. All leather seats with leather trim. Touchscreen display. Superior audio sound Dual a/c control Rear view camera Travel in style and comfort in this wonderful RAV4. AWD for your ski trips. Parking details

San Mateo: I’ll meet you in the car park of Cuban Kitchen. Berkeley: Park close to where you picked up the car or any adjacent street that has C parking permit. Pay attention to street cleaning days and times during first the week of the month. Also please note there are a couple school drop off zones with restricted parking, pay attention to the signs.

Guidelines

The tire pressure sensors are faulty. I replaced them for $200 each and still faulty. Tires are well maintained always. Please visually examine tires for any flat or low tires. Also altitude changes the tire pressure, please feel free to check tire pressure during your trips to Tahoe, please do not over inflate. If you don’t know where to check the appropriate psi, drive Into tire shop and ask them to inflate to appropriate psi.

Faqs

  • Are snow chains required?

Snow chains are not required on All wheel drive SUVs. Please read this information from Lake Tahoe and check the requirement level before you go. https://tahoe.com/articles/lake-tahoe-winter-driving-tips-chain-requirements I do not supply chains. I install high quality all season tires that are snow worthy.

  • Why is the tire pressure sensor light flashing?

The tire pressure sensors are faulty. I replaced them and they’re still faulty. I keep tires well maintained. Please use old school methods to visually look for a flat tire.

I enjoyed the way this RAV4 drives. It made me seriously consider purchasing one in the future. The biggest issue I had with this car was the EXTREMELY STRONG odor caused by someone smoking in the car. The odor irritated my eyes and gave me a headache. I drove with the windows down everywhere I went because I was afraid the smell would get in my clothes.

Ann's response

My apologies for this. I’m Warri g a mask now during cleaning, I’m not noticing odors as readily. I’ll take car of this issue

The car drove fine but it wasn’t safe to operate at night due to the headlights not working. Plus the electric door locks were broken and Turo Go did not work. There were also persistent electrical issues with the clock blinking, rear lights flashing, and clicking noises in the car. When I picked up the car, the owner explained there was just an issue with the door locks. Had I known the extent of the electrical issues up front, I would not have rented this car.

Ann's response

My apologies for this inconvenience. There was a battery disconnect right before your rental., The issues you experienced have to do with the car alarm system. Had I known the headlights were faulty I would not have rented it. Car is unlisted until it’s resolved.
