I had a bad experience with another host, the car that I was supposed to have versus this car night and day.
Great service, helpful gas expectation reasonable, beautiful car, functional and clean.

The car quality was a disaster. On pickup and doing a circle check, the car did not have a functioning third brake light. I called the host and was advised that it apparently happened that morning. It was a lie as I was monitoring the vehicle's availability. There was a big chance I needed to change the time when I picked up the car. The car was available 2-3 days prior. The host tried to tell me that the third break was not that important and he had always driven cars like that (I hate people like that). That was one lie.

With no other large vehicles available on Turo, I had to accept the car as is with a promise that he would pay for any tickets.

Just as I left the lot, 15 min later, I checked the check engine lights lights up, and the car went into limp mode. I barely made it home as I was much closer to home than to returning the car back to the host. When I got home and checked the Obdii computer on the vehicle to see the issue, the computer told me the car had the same problem before and that the code was now “permanent,” meaning the host kept deleting the code. The host gave me an unsafe car to be out on the road. As Turo was unable to find me a replacement car i had to change my plans and was not able to take my family on the trip and had to find alternate arrangements as no 7-seater was available for rental through turo or other rental agencies that close to the long weekend.

As per Turo the car will be restricted for rental, so make sure tou do your homework if you see this car available.

I used Turo for the first time and it was fantastic! The host was great—friendly and helpful, making the whole process a breeze. The car was exactly as described, clean, and in great condition. Way better than traditional rentals! I’ll definitely use Bound Rentals again. Highly recommend!

Good communication, clean car, easy pickup/drop off with flexibility. Much less painful than traditional car rentals!
