Vehicle was exactly as advertised. Easy pickup and drop off. Quick response from owner in messaging. Would definitely do business with again!

The vehicle was not ready for pickup. Had to wait 40 minutes so they could clean it (only vacuum) and reset the maintenance light. I asked the host if the vehicle had been serviced because of the previous review from the renter the days before. The host said it was maintenance and ready to go. Once I got home before we left for our trip I looked at the oil and low and behold it was not clean oil. We left for our trips and drove to Florida spent 6 days and upon our return going down the highway the right rear tire blew out. We put the donut on and drove to a tire repair shop where we learned that all four tires were bald on the inside and all needed replaced as they were unsafe to drive on. The host said it was at my expense to repair the tire. After arguing with him and mentioning how he violated the contract with Turo by not providing a safe vehicle he finally covered the $350 to replace all four tires with used tires. I was satisfied as the used tires were safer than what the host sent us on our trip with. If you decide to rent a vehicle from this host you may want to rethink that decision. He only cares about the money and not the safety of the renters and their families. The host needs to take responsibility and be honest with the renters about the conditions of the vehicles he provides. Also he failed to show up when I returned the vehicle and had someone else check us in. Do better!

The lady I dealt with was very friendly, however, we had several problems. After I picked up the van and was driving down the road, I noticed a low tire pressure dash light. I had to stop at a gas station and air up the tire. While driving on the highway on the way to Florida, I noticed vibration coming from the left front wheel. Most likely a bad wheel bearing. After we made it to Florida, a service notification popped up on the dash. I assumed it was for an oil change. While in Florida, I noticed the air conditioning was only working about 50% even though it was on full blast. I decided to look up the maintenance code that was on the dash and it had to do with the a/c. While driving during the day in Florida, we could not get the van cool enough on the inside so we were not hot. Keep in mind I had 3 kids with me too. I messed the owner a picture of the dash code and told him about the a/c. He read the message but never replied. Then on the way back, my fiance rode in the 3rd row seat with my 6 year old niece. The kids rode in the 3rd row on the way down. Anyway, she reached down to grab the seat belt buckle and felt something between the seats. She thought it was lip gloss from the kids. Well, what she pulled out was a broken GLASS CRACK PIPE!! I have rented many cars on Turo and never came across a situation like this. We previously found a smashed up honeybun on the side of the seat from the previous renter and several sticky areas in the van. The van obviously wasn't cleaned out from the previous renter. When I returned the van, I let the nice lady know about everything. I said I expect some type of reimbursement because of all the issues and the fact the kids were riding in the back seat with a broken glass pipe that had some type of drug in it. Imagine if it had fentanyl and they touched it by accident, it could have been fatal. The lady said she would reach out to me in a few hours after she spoke to the owner. Well it's been 2 days and no phone call. I messaged the owner directly on Turo with the picture of the crack pipe and told him the lady was supposed to call me. He read the message but never responded. I was trying to give them the opportunity to contact me and make things right before leaving a review. Obviously, the owner did not care about any of the issues and had the audacity to ask for a 5 star review but not respond to my complaints. It is very rare for me to leave bad reviews and have personally never left one with an explanation this long. I'm contacting Turo next and bringing this to their attention. I will never rent from this person (used car lot owner) ever again.
