• Do you clean the vehicles prior to delivery?

  I pride myself in being meticulously clean especially with my vehicles. I put forward this trait and go the extra mile in allowing my vehicles to sit 24-48 hours prior to your bookings. I have professional detailing experience and have invested in all proper equipment and tools to ensure a safe and clean Turo experience. I have completed Turo sanitation training including hotspots in vehicles. I continue to follow and comply to all updated provincial guidelines to make sure the risks becomes negligible when you book any of my vehicles.

• What are TURO's advantages over booking through other sites, apps and channels?

  There are plenty of ways to book rentals. Apps, sites, in person that it becomes diluted and selections become overwhelming. Regardless where you book and how you book. The rental terms and conditions remain the same outdated, corporate beneficial policy. So what makes TURO specifically better than the rest? Here are a few: -Seamless Pick up and drop off option. Rentals can be picked up and dropped off literally anywhere. Doorstep to doorstep. I come to you, not the other way around. No Ubers or skytrains or shuttles necessary for pick up/drop off. Cheap economy car promised, expensive cars only available during pick up. With TURO, what you see is what you get. Pictures are of the exact vehicle, down to the floor mats. -SELECTION. Are you like me that I value the car I drive when I travel? If so, this is a major point for you. For the same price, why not enjoy the drive instead of numb, boring, machines that will bore you out of your mind everytime you hop in. -Easy booking through app and your host and direct owner becomes your personal point of contact instead of changing employees who doesn't care about the vehicles or condition. Employees who can't wait to clock out or overworked that they stopped to care. As owners, we are directly responsible for maintenance and cleanliness. Thus, we are fully invested in making sure you receive an enjoyable experience as much as we enjoy our vehicles. -Damages of all types or incidents can be dealt with privately vs. Corporation who automatically go through inflated insurance. I will work with you to save you as much as possible because for the most part. Accidents are exactly just that. Accidents. -Negotiable pricing! This one is my favourite. Turo hosts have the one advantage no one has. Control over pricing. Pricing is out of your budget? Reach out. I will always find a way to make it work for you. Have you even contemplated negotiating the advertised price during traditional rental? Most likely not. We all know the outcome.

• How important is it to leave a Rating/Review after a trip?

  Turo's new Host classification has made reviews even more crucial for a hosts success. Prior to the change, no ratings/reviews does not make any difference. Current program counts non ratings as automatic negative ratings. Please help the community by leaving your reviews and ratings (good or bad) for hosts and in return, hosts that go above and beyond will continue to shine and reflect on search creating for a more fun, reliable vehicle rentals for all guests.

• I accidentally curbed your rim, do I have to pay for it??

  You'll be happy to learn that I personally do not charge my guests for aesthetic damages to the rims of any of my vehicles. I may be the only host that does this. Although this type of damage is claimable through Turo. I've made it a point to not nickel and dime my customers in that way. The lack of quick, reliably rim repair services in my city makes it extremely difficult to repair rims everytime they are curbed. This will also create a large amount of downtime on the vehicles. In exchange, I do ask for your understanding of any aesthetic flaws on the rims as the vehicles do go on large amount of trips and these things are unavoidable in most cases. The only damage that will be chargeable are for structural damages which compromises safety. Bending of the rim, cracked rim, etc.. These damages will be repaired immediately after it happens.

• Past TIPS:

  February tip: Negotiate. Hosts have the ability to modify discounts/prices per day to a certain extent. Great hosts will be happy to hear you out so don't be shy to negotiate with us. We love to earn your business and work within your budget. March tip: Book EARLY! Did you know, you have up-to 24 hours before trip start to cancel with full refund. Many hosts use dynamic pricing that adapts and changes daily. The closer you get to your trip, the higher the prices tend to go. The earlier you book, you lock in the rates and even if you're not 100% sure. At least you have the price and date locked. You can cancel anytime if you change your mind.

• Do you offer contactless pick ups?

  Absolutely! Please indicate if you wish to opt for contactless and I will provide all details via messages and instructions for Key pick up. Vehicle will be cleaned and sanitized ready to drive.

• Can the car be taken across the border to the US?

  YES! Please advise during booking that the car will be travelling across border to ensure extra documents are included in the car.

• Chase's price match promise!

  I will match pricing of any other hosts with the following requirements: 1. Host must have 4.9 rating and above with at least 10 trips minimum (No ones perfect and 4.9 is still reasonable service) 2. Similar vehicle and category. an SUV and a VAN are not the same. etc. 3. Must be able to provide screenshot of total 4. Price match rate will only be applied at time of booking.

• I really want to rent your car but the cost is too much 😞

• The car is not available for the dates I want, do I have any other options?

  Yes, please contact me even if the dates are not available. If the date are blocked for cleaning, I can open the dates up. If the car is booked for another trip, I can offer you the closest option from my other vehicles that are available.

• What goes into my vehicle preparation before a trip?

  Each vehicle goes through a process and rigorous detailing routine. As I have started in the beginning of COVID, cleanliness and sanitizing was not optional, it was mandatory. We are glad to say that none of our vehicles has been the cause of the spread of the virus. Every guest was taken care of and received a fully sanitized vehicle. Since then, we have continued to uphold the same standard and every car is delivered cleaner than you would receive from a Dealership. Our history of all 5 star for cleanliness is evident of our promise. Our detailing process is lengthy, it is precise and it is as the name suggests. Detailed. I guarantee every guest a pristine condition interior upon delivery or a discount will be added if this promise is not met. I dare you to try and hold me to my word.
