Great car and an even batter host

The car was given to me not washed, not sanitized, which is unacceptable during the times of this pandemic. He didn’t come at the time he stated he would, which caused a delay as I had something else to do instead I was waiting around. It smelled of marijuana very heavily as well, but I was in a rush so I just went and cleaned it myself. Fast forward to the end of the rental which I had already paid an outrageous amount per day for, the host charges me and additional $344 for milage overages. We agreed as I asked BEFORE even booking if the milage would be flexible or not because I knew I was taking a long trip and I told him exactly how many miles I would be using. The owner stated that was fine and then acted as if there was no agreement after the week of renting the car. He checked in on me everyday as well and asked how his car was doing, which was fine but if there were any issues I would have let him know so it felt intrusive and like he didn’t trust me with the car so why rent to me? I have used turo for years and have a 5 star rating on over 50 other owners and I usually don’t have any problem but I had to speak on this because I feel like there was more than a misunderstanding. This was unprofessional and unethical and it’s going to steer me away from turo because of this experience.

First, I thanked you again for yr rental. However, you were not genuine when commenting like this because Turo charged you excess mileage. This was not my fault as the system charged excess mileage based on the mileage used. Furthermore, I always washed n vacuumed cleaning my car before delivering to any renter. You can see their ratings to me as a proof for that. Anyway, thanks again for renting my car.
