I am a responsible and experienced driver with a passion for the latest in automotive tech, cars, and motorcycles. I have long enjoyed cross-country car and motorcycle trips with my family and have a clear driving record. I can drive a manual. Living and working in San Francisco, it didn't make since for me to keep a car. That said, I still get the eager desire to get out of the city and gain a fresh perspective of the world around me. While I signed up for Turo in 2017, I usually use my credit-card points to book cars through rental companies, but I’ve come to like Turo better. Because it’s your property and I want you to feel confident renting to me, I’ve included some personal info below (though TL;DR understood).
I have been to more than 30 countries and spent more than 5 years of my life abroad. The majority of this time I spent in Mainland China under a graduate fellowship to study Mandarin and Economics. I later worked as a business development liaison and policy analyst for an NGO that served as a liaison for foreign businesses (including various Fortune 500 companies) and the government. After four years in China, I returned to the US to gain experience working in Silicon Valley (I worked as the China-connect for a car navigation company). Ultimately, I made a professional career shift to pursue a Juris Doctor. I am currently part of the in-house legal team at a public tech company in San Francisco, where I have happily found a nexus between tech, law, and East Asia. 会中文
