I am trying to write as objective of a review as possible, so this is why it is not a one star. There were pros, but this whole ordeal was very disappointing to deal with on vacation. Pros: Jimmy was initially nice, punctual, and gave a good run down on how to drive a Tesla. The car was great. Cons: The car was not charged fully in preparation for our two hour drive to Napa, although we notified them prior to the booking that was our plan. We stayed in an area without many charging options and were stressed about it during the first couple days of our Napa trip. Upon arrival to SFO, we were picked up and driven out of the way to Supercharge station close to Jimmy’s office and expected to wait 30 minutes to charge it. We were trying to rush to make it to a birthday dinner, so we cut the charging short. This alone wasn’t a huge deal at the moment because the tutorial was good, but it became a problem when we arrived to our destination. We weren’t near to any charging stations. It was just this looming concern throughout the trip because it takes so long to charge if not at a super charge station (several hours). The interaction really soured when Jimmy wanted us to meet him at Foster City (his office) on our way back instead of the airport. We explained that it was 20 minutes out of the way roundtrip, which can be a hassle when trying to catch an early flight. There was still pushback saying it is hard to coordinate at the airport and wanted to talk and compromise. Throughout this exchange I was cordial and simply stated we wanted to exercise the $65 option we paid for... return the car at SFO. When my boyfriend called, Jimmy became heated and yelled at him. We again reminded him we had paid $65 for airport delivery, if he wanted us to meet him at Foster then he could refund the fee. Throughout this ordeal, Jimmy lost sight of the fact if a customer wants the services for which they paid for those services should be rendered. Foster city is not far away and if you decide to book him, I would recommend going to get the car there, as they do not charge for delivery from there. We didn’t know this because we are unfamiliar with the area and just wanted what we had paid $65 for without unnecessary pushback. Airport car return was not hard. We met him at the gate and time he specified. He just didn’t want to deal with paying for a car service and waiting for us at the airport. That was not our problem. I advised him he should not offer SFO delivery option if he is not prepared to offer the service fully. Full disclosure: We disputed fuel charges that were added at the end of trip because we thought he was penalizing us spitefully for returning the car with 10 miles less of a charge then what was received. It turns out the charge was for the fuel incurred, which we were in full agreement with those charges and paid them. In summary, the car was great and the experience can be great if it goes without a hitch. But do not expect good conflict resolution if a problem arises and that can really dampen your trip. I truly do not feel there should not have been an pushback asking for what we had paid for. That was wrong. I also just noticed when checking past reviews that we aren’t the first people Jimmy has yelled at during a differing of opinions. He should keep his temper in check and be professional.

Communication: The communication needs serious improvement. If I’m getting the same car but with a different color, I would like to be notified and consulted with. No one should be finding surprises when picking up the car. Additionally, if you promised to make up the price difference (the blue one was 7 dollars cheaper per day than the white one I rented), you, as the owner, have to write that down somewhere to remind yourself. But if you’re going to yell at me (literally, he yelled at me for a good 5 minutes) and telling me that you don’t remember what you said, then it’s messed up. Listing Accuracy: The listing says it’s a 2019 Nissan Leaf, but the car says 2018.
