Hi Jordan, my experience with executing this car rental was seamless. You were always very reachable and communication was stellar. I would give you 5 stars for this. I had to wait a few days to calm down. Your car was absolutely filthy. I know people have different standards of cleanliness, but I noticed the bugs, dirt and stuff dripping down the passenger door immediately as I did the walk-around of the vehicle. When I opened the car doors, I found dog hair EVERYWHERE. Including the trunk and stuck to all carpeted surfaces everywhere. I love dogs - but I do not like dog hair. The cup holders were dirty, the front tires are worn, and the gas tank indicator was not full. There were personal items in the console: bobby pins, socks, eyewear for tanning salons, etc. Not my standard for a rental car at all. Extremely disappointed. I have many photos of every surface of the car, including the gas tank indicator. I did not contact Turo, or you, before this, as I was on a business trip and had to be in Florence ASAP. I did not want to deal with phone calls and text messaging with you and Turo offering another vehicle and dealing with all that paperwork (Insurance info, etc.). I was extremely disappointed. Thankfully, my trip only lasted two days. Sorry - but I think others need to know.

Hello Shelly, I’m so sorry that you felt your trip was not up to your standard. With Turo, you are renting someone’s personal vehicle therefore the vehicles are not presented much like a rental car company, this is what makes Turo very different. We noted that this was a dog friendly car so that folks would know it’s not a “hairless” car. I believe the personal items you mentioned were a pair of mittens, as well as a few new Bobbie pins for guests to use. We are so sorry for your inconvenience.

Jordan was very easy to work with! He dropped the car off at the airport. And communication with him was great! Many thanks, Jordan! TURO, on the other hand, I'll wait before posting a review. I booked the car for two days, and was charged, but the following day I changed my reservation to just one day, which Jordan approved immediately. That was weeks ago but I haven't received any notification from Turo that I will be getting a refund for the un-used day.
