Everything went smooth at the pickup and I was having no trouble with the car until 30 minutes into my drive the tire blew out and I was forced to end the trip since I couldn’t drive to my destination on a spare tire. The car also didn’t provide a lug wrench so I was left stranded until a stranger pulled over to help me. When I told ben about the incident he seemed very understanding and I thought we had solved the issue between us. I was looking for a refund since I could not continue my trip or use the car and I had no fault in a blown out tire. A day later I received a message from turo about a $500 charge for the damages. Ben has not since contacted me back and the process with turo has been awful to deal with. In the event of any accidents or unfortunate incidents you will not be helped. I would rate this experience a 0/5 if I could.

Ben's response

I took it to a tire shop & they said you drove on the tire flat for miles for it to have the extent of the damage caused. They said you would have felt the tire go flat before the TPMS light came on. It was driver negligence and nothing to do with me or the car. Now I’m personally out $600+ for tires alone - which doesn’t even cover the damage you also caused 2 the car As far a a refund, that is not my discretion. As far as the damage caused, you should be held liable (& why there’s insurance)
