What a horrible experience! I booked Turo for the first time, as it was recommended to me by a friend. The car itself, didn't have any major problems, other than the driver side window not going up and down. The communication with Khanh initially was great. He gave us instructions on where the car would be etc. However on day 5 of our 7 day trip, another vehicle hit us, and we were involved in an accident. The area in which we were in was quite possible the middle of nowhere. It was snowing and 10 degrees outside, the nearest cop was over an hour away, so I messaged the host, to get some guidance on what to do, however, i received no immediate response. With the little reception I had, I called Turo and was advised that they could not send any kind of roadside assistance until I file a claim, which had to be done online. I was not able to do this, because the reception was very limited and I explained this to the turo agent, however, he was not able to help. Finally I called the host, in hopes he could file the claim, in order for me to receive roadside assistance, but he told me to file the claim. So there I was in the middle of nowhere, now night time, and less than 10 degrees, snowing, waiting for a police officer. The police officer had to give me a ride to the cabin, thankfully. From there, the problems with Turo got worse. I spent the next 2 days, talking and chatting with numerous Turo agents. At the end, Turo only refunded me for 1 day instead of 2, they did not help facilitate another vehicle, so I had to rent another car on my own. The accident was not my fault at all whatsoever, even proven by the police report, however, Turo still made a claim with my personal insurance, instead of the insurance of the person at fault. So I am now having to pay my premium, had to pay extra for another rental, and was also charged extra fees, that concluded in getting a third of the refund I should have received. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TURO. Their customer service is just terrible!

Khanh worked quickly to accommodate us when we booked her last minute. The car was clean and rode smoothly. She communicated well about drop off & pick up. Although she was later than expected picking us up from the airport she let us keep the car the same length longer. Loved her. Would love to book with her again!
