When I arrived the check engine light was on host did not make me aware of the situation prior to me renting even though they were aware of the situation. Car smelled like smoke and was not very clean. Host is definitely not following the cleaning rules set by Turo. When I reached out to the host about the situation she didn’t acknowledge it at first. I had to ask her why the light was on and she admitted that a previous renter returned the car with the light on,but was not aware why the light was on. This made me cancel some plans I had for the weekend. I reached out to Turo for assistance, and this in return made they host mad. Upon returning the car at the appropriate trip end time. I was greeted by the host with an attitude rushing me to take my pictures and leave her car, because she had somewhere to go, then I was greeted by a man who began to antagonize me as well. I tried to deescalate the situation as I had my kids with me. Host is very unprofessional. Will not recommend using this host, do not waste your time or money.

Turo has a non-smoking policy that we enforce with our renters and the car was detailed prior to you receiving it. Per your photos, checkengine light is off. My husband and I approached you to ask why the car was not left here and/or returned per our and Turo’s many requests. Again, it’s very disheartening that you were not satisfied with the vehicle. If you are ever interested in renting again, we hope that we could find a better solution to make this a better renting experience for everyone.
