Tito was really easy to organise with, car was spotless & ridiculously comfortable for the long trip we took. He tried to be help out with the booking as much as possible when we needed to reschedule. Highly recommended

Super great! Great gas mileage and Tito was amazing super clean car and also had a phone holder so I could safely use GPS along with a charger and AUX cable for the drive! Would rent again!

I'm not sure whether I am dissatisfied with the vehicle, the owner, or Turo as a company. I plan to look further into this for reparations and inconveniences I accrued with this trip. -Before leaving with the vehicle I mentioned where I would be traveling and that I would possibly be going over the mileage. We agreed to handle any differences after the trip was completed, but based on the experience I disputed any requests for reimbursement and here is why... Firstly, The drive barely did a "pre-check" or walk through, he was in a hurry to "another rental" and to be quite honest, did not ask for my ID. I offered it, which I found strange. I let it go. I asked if there was anything I needed to know about the car. The owner said no, and told me there was a full tank, the paperwork was in the car, and I was good to go. -I reached out to him mid-trip (no more than 4 hours later) and told him I was concerned about occurrences of the ignition or dash board "clicking" after turning off the car, the wipers were stuttering/freezing while driving (Video of this is unable to be uploaded to Turo album but can be provided). I also noticed the cars "lack of power", mentioned that it seemed like it need an oil change or servicing, etc. He THEN informed me that "the lack of power is the small non turbo motor....It's the motor that gets 40 mpg economy 2.0 base model." He also stated that "The tune up was done and it's up to date in the oil. It's an economic car. Not powerful at all. 4 cylinder 2.0 I think only 105hp." Based on this, I continued with my trip feeling assured that there was no emergent concern. - After reaching my destination, I filled the gas before parking it. The car was parked for 2 or 3 hours. When I went to start the car, it would not turn over. I assumed in most cases it simply needed a jump. After multiple attempts at trying to jump the car, I found that there in fact wasn't any oil in the car. COMPLETELY DRY DIP STICK. After REFILLING the oil (photo submitted in album) and trying to start the car again (video of this is also available), It was finally brought to my attention that there was NO GAS in the car. Despite my filling the tank before parking it! After all of these attempts at trying to find the issue, it was confirmed that there was actually a GAS LEAK. Based on how the car was acting throughout my travels, along with the lack of oil, this leak was simply the primary underlying issue. Not only did I communicate accordingly throughout my rental process (via Turo messaging and text), but I attempted to make contact with him immediately regarding the emergency. Regardless of the hour, I did not receive a response from him until hours later. He sent me out with a vehicle that had underlying major issues, and ultimately I ended up stranded, 300+ miles away. My well-being was at stake, still I made an attempt to reach him to figure out what to do. I not only took a loss on the entire rental, but the full tank of gas I put in the vehicle I also had to resort in taking a $300 ride share back to New Jersey. As if all of this isn't enough already, He follows up with photos of body work scratches that were never noted visually on original photos uploaded, basically suggesting this happened during my rental. For all the hassle I have with the vehicle, his biggest concern was ashes in the car. After the night I had, you would've lit a cigarette too. After all this he sends a request for a reimbursement which I denied, and have no understanding of why. I believe I am owed a full refund for my uncompleted booked trip and the Uber I had to take back to NJ. The host uploaded photos of what look like minor defects I was unaware of before starting my trip. No direct notes were made, no specific photos were taken, and I was not informed verbally when I asked if there was anything I should know about the car. overall, nice guy. Probably a decent person, but I wouldn't go for this car if he has others. I honestly just want my rental amount back.

Tito's response

This person is a true criminal. Used the car to get to her air B&B in Maryland then left the car there. With no gas and a dead battery. Put it to the side on the lawn so it was out of there way during there rental. When I get there other renter of that air B&B let me know whe was there. Try to black mail me with a bad review to pay for a false uber $300 after leaving my car and couldn't find the key when I got there. Smoked the car out as well as going over mileage, stay far away from guest
