The communication and ease of pickup/return were great up front. And the truck was also great. We took good care of it, as if it were our own. Upon returning it 2 days early, we didn’t ask for a refund and certainly didn’t expect any additional fees or charges. We were surprised to be approached a few days after saying we were responsible for a sizable scratch on the A pillar and a large fee for failing to remove a decal from the window. I had a bunch of small decals to remove prior to returning it, as we had used it for a few photos and needed our brand partners represented in those photos. The 5 other decals took me about 5 min total to remove, the ones on the windscreen are usually the easiest because you can use a razor blade. I was surprised that he said it took over an hour to take off and that he had a detail person charge him $150 dollars. With regards to the scratch, I definitely didn’t remember anything happening that could have cause a scratch and luckily I had a time stamped photo from my pickup that did indeed show the scratch already present. I provided the photo and was still asked to cover the costs. Even tho I knew the scratch wasn’t us, I offered to have my body shop fix it. I was still asked to pay money and I paid just to avoid the hassle of dealing with it further. I am sorry I left a decal on, and accept that I put you out. I do feel justified in writing a less than good review, because I feel some level of dishonesty happening in hopes of squeezing un-just money from me.m after the rental.
