Faqs

  • How do charging and tolls work?

I will invoice you after the trip for both of these. I will include screenshots of both portals so you can check accuracy

  • Supercharging cost?

Can be between $5-$20 to fill up the battery. Most are about $15.

  • What do I need to know if I’ve never driven a Tesla?

his is a little lengthy but will be helpful no doubt. 2 things right off the bat. 1: No need to wash or clean car other than if there is a spill. I vaccum and clean the car before every trip regardless. 2: Please keep the charge between 40-220 as going outside of that can damage the battery. General Tips: The left stick is normal turn signal, the button on it is the windshield wipers. The right stick is the gear shift. You press it all the way up go in reverse, all the way down to put in drive, and press the button on it put the car in park. The car has backup cameras for when going in reverse. To adjust the mirrors and steering wheel you will click the little car icon at the very bottom left of screen, click controls and it will give you instructions. You can find most general controls here. Fee free to adjust the car seat position however you want and click save. I have it set to Turo settings and it will save whatever you change it to. Driving tip, when you let your foot off the gas it will be a little jerky because of regenerative braking. I would try and just lessen the pressure on the gas as opposed to fully taking it off. Full Self Drive Tips: To engage FSD while driving you will press down on the right stick twice. You will know it’s engaged when your car has two blue lines on the outside and the car will make a little dinging noise. You can change lanes using the turn signal while in full self driving. You control the speed with the right spinning wheel on the wheel and the left one controls music volumes. To disengage FSD you still push the right stick up or press your foot on the break. I would recommend only engaging the FSD while on a Main Street or potentially just the highway as that is its intended use. It will stop at stop signs and red lights for you. In order to go through a green light you will press down on the stick to “confirm” you want to pass through the light. Charging: I have included the home charger that will plug into any three prong outlet. This charges very slow and really is only helpful if you are overnight somewhere. The super chargers will fully charge the car in 40 minutes. To use this you will back into one of those spots and the charging port is on the drivers side. It automatically charges to my Tesla account and so does the Ipass so you will receive an invoice for that after your trip ends. If you are looking for a super charger you can tap the navigation screen and in the bottom right click the lighting bolt. This will show you the closest superchargers
