Good rental and great gas milage. Didn't have any wiper fluid to clean the window so got a bit hard to see and it was a bit of a strage setup with auto locks and a backup camera, but manual windows and no cruise control... But overall good to go.

We recommend that you extend your trip next time if you decide to keep the vehicle with you for an extra day. Please message us or extend your trip, as we have other rentals waiting for the vehicle. Please note that any damages or incidents that occur during the extended period will not be covered by the insurance if the trip was not extended properly.

The host was kind, quick and responsive. Everything went well until I went to pick my partner up from the airport. I pushed the unlock button, the car was running, key in the ignition… as soon as I closed the door, everything locked. In the immediate loading and unloading lane. Airport security and officers were trying to help but said if I didn’t move it soon, it would have to be towed. Both Turo roadside and USAA would’ve taken 90min. FINALLY airport security was able to get the window down enough to get the door unlocked since the windows are manual. But it was a crazy huge inconvenience. In that time of trying to get into the car, we noticed a syringe (not for insulin) in the trunk. A day later, the check engine light came on. The duration of my 5 day rental I would deal with the faulty automatic locks on the vehicle as well as the engine light going on and off. I wasn’t able to trade out the car as I picked up in Orange Co but went down to Palm Springs. This host has good reviews overall so maybe I was just unlucky. In any case… it was an unfortunate experience with this particular vehicle.

Thank you for your business. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the issue with the key. Historically, we have not encountered any problems with the key lock system. We always advise our renters not to leave the car running with the door closed and no one inside, Regarding the engine light, it seems that the fuel cap was left loose. We would have appreciated it if you had informed us about this problem during your trip. Thank you once again for choosing our services.

Fathi was very accommodating. We had to extend/update our drop off a few times and luckily no one was renting the car after and we were able to do so. Car was clean when we picked up the car. Would totally recommend renting from Fathi. Thanks!
