Summit White 2018 Chevrolet Volt LT FWD 1-Speed Automatic with Range Extender. This is a one of a kind plug-in hybrid electric car with an always electric drive and a generator style engine to keep you going when you've run out of a charge. It'll go up to between 47-53 miles on a single charge and if not charged will get roughly 47 MPG on gasoline only (total range 350-400 miles!) It is extremely smooth and comfortable to drive but very agile and responsive on city streets or on the freeway. This car is also very safe with 10 airbags. With the regenerative brake pad behind the steering wheel, you can almost 1 foot drive around town. It’s a sleek hatch back with plenty of trunk space for all your luggage.

How do I charge this plug-in hybrid and how long does it take?
Volt uses the standard J1772 connection found in all U.S.-based home and public EV chargers that supply 240-volt, Level 2 power. This bumps up the number of electric miles you can replenish to 11 to 13 miles in an hour. It is recommended to charge whenever you have the opportunity. This will prevent you from ever having to resort to using the gas powered engine.

A perfect trip. Destah was fantastic to work with good communication and the volt was in really good shape. Clearly well maintained, it drove like a car half its age. We appreciated being able to plug in which saved us lots of money in gas and allowed us to be "greener" on our trip.

A great experience. The pick up and drop off were super easy, this was my first experience with a hybrid car that could be charged and Destah was very responsive to my calls and questions. I will definitely rent this car again.
