Rental Guidelines: Respectful and Responsible Use 1. Vehicle Condition - Please return the car in the same clean and disinfected condition as received. - Any irresponsible or abusive behavior may result in a $150 violation fee, plus a 3% processing fee. In certain cases, Turo may also take further action. 2. NO Smoking - Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. - Evidence of smoking (smoke odor, ashes, etc.) will result in a $250 violation fee, plus a 3% processing fee, and removal from Turo. 3. NO Pets - Pets are not allowed in the vehicle. - Violation will incur a $150 pet cleaning fee, plus a 3% processing fee. 4. NO Bikes Inside - Bikes should not be placed inside the vehicle. 5. Fuel - The car is provided with a full tank of gas. - Please return it with a full tank and provide a receipt. - Failure to refuel will result in a $10 gas replacement convenience fee, in addition to the gas cost. - Alternatively, purchase “Prepaid Fuel” to return my vehicles at any level of gas. 6. Driver's License - You must have a valid driver's license. 6. Tolls and Tickets - Disclose and pay for any tolls or tickets incurred during your trip. - We may request reimbursement through Turo within 90 days. 7. Accidents - Notify us of any damages or accidents during your trip. - We can work directly to avoid additional processing fees if filing with Turo is necessary. 8. Mileage Limit - There is a $200-mile per day limit. - Exceeding the limit incurs an additional distance fee set by Turo for each added mile driven. 9. Late Return - Return the vehicle on time. - A $20 fee applies if you return the vehicle 2 or more hours past the scheduled end time, in addition to the extra usage cost. 10. San Diego Airport Restriction - Vehicles cannot be picked up or dropped off at the San Diego International Airport. - Instead, we offer a convenient off-site parking location, one block from the terminal, to avoid airport traffic. - Please make sure you are okay with picking up and dropping off at the off-site location before selecting the airport as the delivery location.

• Trip Extension

  If your plan changed or an emergency happened and unable to return the car as the scheduled date and/or time, you must submit a trip extension request before the trip starts or while it’s in progress to avoid late return fee: 1. Log onto turo.com or the Turo app to open your Trips tab. 2. Tap “Booked” to select the trip you’d like to change. 3. Select the Details tab. 4. If your trip is in progress, select the “Modify trip” button. From the menu of options, select "Dates and Location" If your trip has ended, select the “Extend trip” button. 5. Enter your new end time and write a message to your host. 6. Submit your request. We will immediately approve your change request if there is no conflict with next upcoming booking.
