I think Crystal did her best. She was a bit late and the car smelled a tad musty.

I apologize if the car wasn’t perfect upon arrival; the slight delay and scent will be addressed. Car was in good working order. Pickup was a cinch as she brought the car right to baggage claim and we were able to take off! I would use Crystal again.

The host was responsive and had the car available well before our arrival. They took detailed pictures of where the car was located with clear instructions. As usual, I treated the car as my own and parked in private lots. Made sure that I recorded details of the trip with my dashcam, just as I would with my personal car. I returned the car with a full tank and took many pictures to show I had returned the car to almost the same spot I received it… taking care to document as much as possible. Checkout was smooth and complete.
However to my surprise, the owner claimed I dented the car, despite the pictures of the checkout of no damages. Trying to claim damage when the car was no longer under my possession seemed unprofessional, which is why I had to take a star away.

However, the damage was discovered immediately upon return, while the vehicle was still under your possession. As a host, I’m required to report any damages as soon as they are noticed. I understand these situations can be frustrating, but I followed the standard process to ensure everything was handled properly. Wishing you the best in your future rentals.
