The Raleigh-Durham Airport has implemented an Airport Fee (around 11%) for pickups at the airport. This fee is in addition to any delivery and parking fees. Avoid the fees and save money by taking a Lyft/Uber to my location or pickup the car at your airport hotel. ✈️ Airport Pickup. Under the Turo Airport Agreement, airport deliveries must be picked from the airport parking lot. I will make every effort to get the car delivered as close to your arrival. But you will need to pay the parking fee to get the car out of the parking lot. Most parking charges are $6-$10 but could be up to $20. About the car: My Kia Forte’ EX has a crisp, clean design that gives it an upscale appearance. With a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, the Forte EX sedan is quick for it’s size. The Forte offers controlled suspension responses. This is a firm-riding car. The Forte has intuitively placed, logically designed controls. It’s easy to get in the car and understand all the controls after just a quick look around the dash. The car has a nice-looking woven seat fabric. The front seats are comfortable. The backseat offers good headroom for adult passengers. There are a number of extras to make your trip more enjoyable; such as, car seats and strollers for the little ones, and portable speakers, beach towels, folding chairs and air mattresses for the older ones. Be sure to add any extras you want.

This is a No Smoking vehicle. This includes tobacco, marijuana and vapes. Turo vehicles are not allowed to be used for commercial or delivery purposes. Turo vehicles are not allowed to be taken off road.
What happens if I incur tolls on my trip?
As soon as we receive a bill for a toll that was incurred during your trip, we will bill you through the Turo app for the cost of the toll only. Depending on where you travel, it could take up to 2-3 months for the toll authorities to send us a bill.
What if I am running late for my pickup or return? Or what if my flight is delayed?
Please communicate your delays as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate your delay. However, if you are more than 30 minutes late due to circumstances not related to air travel, reservations may be cancelled pursuant to Turo’s “No-Show” policy. If your delay is caused by flight delays and we have your flight information before your reservation begins, we will try to contact you about what you would like to do with your reservation. If we don’t have your flight information, we cannot consider flight delays when deciding to hold a reservation. If you are running late returning the car, please contact us as soon as possible. If the car is returned more than 30 minutes late, guests may be charged additional usage charges under the Turo Late Return Policy.
Do you offer car seats?
Yes, you can add a car seat to your reservation. We offer multiple types and sizes of car seats. If you need a car seat please let us know the type of seat that you need and the weight of the child.
Do we have to fill the car with gas before returning it?
Most of the time the gas tank will be full when you pick up the car. Unless you added pre-paid refueling to your reservation, you are expected to return the car with the same amount of gas as when the picked up the car. If the car is returned with less fuel than when it was picked up, you will be charged for the cost of the gas plus a $10 convenience fee.
Do we have to clean the car before returning it?
Guests aren’t expected to clean or disinfect the car before returning. However, if you return the car in a condition that only could have been caused by irresponsible or abusive behavior, we will report the issue to Turo. The Turo customer support team will review the evidence — if it clearly shows an eligible cleaning issue, they will charge you a cleaning violation fee of $150* plus a 3% processing fee. How do I pickup the car if my flight arrives outside of normal business hours? Or what if my flight departs before business hours?
If you need to pickup the car after 9 pm at the airport, let us know when you book your reservation. We can make arrangements to leave the car in a nearby parking facility for a “contactless” pickup, subject to the Turo Contactless Pickup Policy. There may be additional parking fees involved. If you need to return the car for an early morning flight, you can park the in airport parking as long as you select the airport as your location in this reservation. We will pickup the car from airport parking.

Pickup and dropoff was smooth and easy, we were met at the airport pickup and were able to drop off the car in town later. The car was clean but we did have an issue with the brake lights not working when pressing the brake pedal and almost got rear-ended on the last day due to this issue. The car is a little old and basic, which is fine for the price, but it has a lot of miles and doesn't sound great when running so probably doesn't have a lot of life left, or at least needs service (obviously at least for the brakes). Other than that it was fine and Steve made the process easy.
