Description
We have done more than 1,200 trips as Turo hosts. If you want a sports car built for 2 people, this is the car for you! Let's face it, when you come to Florida, don't you want to feel the sun and the wind in your hair, if you have some, unlike me? You can rent a boring car someplace else, or go back to it when you are done with your trip to the Sunshine State. The hardtop is easy to put down with a push of the button and this car is fun to drive. This is the second Miata we have, though the first one is too old to list on Turo, if we still had it. My wife picked the color. I picked the car. The trunk is surprisingly large for a smaller car and can easily fit a full size carry-on along with a tote bag as shown in pictures below. How do Tolls work? There is a toll transponder on the car. Use it by simple taking a FL toll road and take the SunPass/EZ-Pass lanes. The transponder can also be used to enter/exit airport parking lots without tickets. Any Tolls incurred during your trip will be requested at the end of your trip via App. simply take take the on tolls roads. Do NOT bring your own mobile Toll transponder/pay coins/cash as you will be double-charged. The toll transponder is 023832491010

Please notify us of any damage to the vehicle during your trip or any other mechanical issues that you think may require our attention so that we can address prior to next driver. 2.) Please keep the interior & exterior of vehicle clean. If a car wash is required, please use a "hand wash" facility and save the receipt so we may verify. We reserve the right to charge for professional detailing & any repairs if vehicle is not brought back in excellent condition. 3.) Please return the vehicle with same level of fuel or use our pre-paid fuel option for convenience. (Premium only, kindly save receipts so we can verify type of fuel or you will be charged) 4) No Smoking/E-Cigs/Vape Pens (even with the top down) 5.) No Pets 6.) No track use, burnouts, or aggressive driving. All vehicles are equipped with performance/GPS trackers and we will charge for abusive behavior or tampering with trackers. 7.) Have fun!! Car needs a cable to connect to auxiliary jack. Not readily available in stores. Everything worked and was easy to pick up and drop off. Could have used vacuuming and a car wash.

It is a 2012 car and many phones don't even have a headphone jack. I wish you had taken the time to lock the lockbox when you returned it and not have taken the parking ticket with you,

The good: Car was at the designated spot. Directions were well stated. Car worked. I liked the convertible top. The bad: Car was filthy inside. I touched the dashboard and my fingers were black. Scratches and faded/missing paint everywhere. Car (front end) vibrates over approx 30 mph (owner said he’s had that looked at sounded like more than once) Front tire tread is borderline. The actual car is not in the same condition as the pictures.

The car was cleaned before you rented it. You basically took pictures of dust that settles. It is a 2012 car and most people enjoy it. And we monitor the tires. You were looking for things to nitpick and you did.

First time using Turo and great experience with Brad. Not only will I do this every time I travel but I've told all my friends and family what a great experience it was and they will all use this now to. Thank you Brad for making this a great trip of a lifetime with my mom grinning eat too eat the whole time 🤟

Great little car to get me and my daughter from the airport to our family’s home after a late flight. Fun to drop the top and visit the beach. Check in had a glitch which Brad took care of right away at a very late time after a flight delay. Thanks!
