Guidelines

Briefing of terms of service: Please read to eliminate fines or fees! I love giving 5 star ratings plus great reviews and following the terms of service will ensure that... 1. Return car with same level of gas as the trip started. 2. No smoking/drugs/drinking in vehicle *This equates up to a $250.00 turo fine* 3. No aggressive driving with speeds above 90mph/aggressive acceleration/unnecessary hard braking 4. Return car clean as it was when trip was initiated. If drop off is at my home location there are free vacuums at 1726 N Country Club Dr. Mesa, AZ 85201. 5. Car wheels/rims must come back undamaged - be vigilant of curbs, pot holes, etc. *Damage to rims range between $150.00 to $600.00* 6. Review your mileage allowance. Turo bills additional miles at $0.75 per mile above your total allocation. This can become expensive... 7. Car must be returned on time. Many cars are rented back to back therefore punctual returns are a necessity! If you need to keep the vehicle longer, please extend before the end of the trip. Otherwise, you could face additional usage charges and late fees. I've noticed these items have been rare points of issue over my first 1500 trips. Please read the following as I've mentioned my preference is leaving clients with stellar reviews to help the ride sharing marketplace thrive from both the owner and renter's perspective. Thank you for observing these guidelines/expectations!

  • What are my options for Airport Delivery???

Airport Lot Drop: I can leave vehicle at Preflight parking and client will use Preflight shuttle. Upon trip end client will leave car at Preflight where I will pick up. Rate = current delivery rate ******************************************************* *Uber/Lyft fare to my home approximately $35/25 min/23 miles from MESA GATEWAY* ******************************************************* I have 1 option if a person were to want delivery to MESA GATEWAY airport: METHOD A: Airport Lot Drop I will place car in the contiguous lot directly south of the terminal where each client can connect to car and access the keys via a lock box Rate = current delivery rate ___________________________________________________ Delivery logistics primarily depends on 2 factors: 1. Timelines - How much advanced notice was allowed/given. 2. Availability - I work full time as a pharmacist therefore this is my primary roadblock/challenge

Overall this car took us from point A to point B like we needed and with very good gas mileage but as like with any older vehicles there came some uniqueness. We nicknamed her Blueberry and she has a rattle when in idol, the plastic pieces under the car and tires were so worn from scratches and whatnot, that the screws were loose or missing and caused noise and not securely tightened. She has a hard time sometimes starting up but once going she was good to go! For a quick 4 day weekend and the price it was good.

This car is TERRIBLE. Other reviewers were way too generous with stars despite telling some truths about the condition of this car. While it is covered in dents and scratches, what makes this car so bad is the lack of care by the owner. The car sounds like it's about to break down while driving, rattling noises coming from the engine while stopped are annoying and concerning too. The clunking sounds from the front tires/suspension give you more reasons to be concerned. I wouldn't trust this car for a local roadtrip, and am surprised it even lasted for the little bit of driving I did. If this car has ever been maintained or tuned up, it's impossible to tell. It's pretty clear no mechanic has seen this little junker in the past several years, if ever. Don't expect to be comfortable driving it either. The air conditioning technically works, as long as it's below 95 degrees outside. Since this is Phoenix, and below 95 isn't common much of the year, you'll be sweating profusely even with AC on max. Then there are the missing parts. The driver side mirror doesn't have a back to it anymore, so the mirror itself shakes violently at almost any speed. Good luck seeing anything clearly in it, especially at night. The front of the car is missing parts too. The hood looks like it's about to fly up on its own while driving. The inside is perhaps worse than the outside, thanks to the disgusting seat covers, filthy windows inside that haven't been cleaned in a very long time, plus a cracked windshield, scratches and stains on the seats doors and headliner, broken luggage cover in the trunk, a trunk that doesn't stay open (watch your head) and on and on. The list of problems is seemingly never ending. To top it all off, you'll get a good workout rolling the windows up and down manually, and running around the car to lock and unlock the doors manually too including the trunk. No mirror levers means pushing on the mirrors themselves to angle them sort of properly, which you can't do while driving unless you have someone in the passenger seat helping you out. It won't matter much, because the mirrors will move out of position while you drive anyway. Let's face it, this is an older car and I wasn't expecting luxury. The pictures, while not current, do show some of the cosmetic problems. But the fact this host is renting this thing at all is crazy, and really much of the blame should fall on Turo for allowing such a crappy unsafe car to be on their platform.

Patrick was very good at communicating with us and pick up/drop off went swimmingly. However, the car was not what we expected - the AC for AZ was not cold and the seats/interior were extremely worn.

The host is great. Car has its quirks because of its age. Lots of dings, scratches, missing pieces here and there. But it got me from the airport to my destination and back - exactly what I wanted!
