(actual usage will be billed post trip) Presenting the perfect car for Chicago summer sightseeing- Bright Red Mercedes Benz SL400 convertible. The lady in red has two personalities in one: with a flip of handle, she changes from a topless beauty into a sleek sharp looking hard top coupe. The best of both world. That allows you to enjoy open air travel and yet rest assured that you are protected from the elements: rain, dust, noise and environmental safety. A word of caution however, she really hates POTHOLES, unfortunately, something we see abundance here in Chicago. Please be careful on the road- observe speed limit and follow at reasonable distance. Slow down at questionable sections. I had multiple trips to tire shop to repair the custom AMG wheels. The rental is aimed to provide a stylish ride to in town events, - not for long distances travel, daily mile allowance is 100mile and no unlimited mile option. so please book accordingly. Equipped with toll pass so you can drive through Ipass lane without stopping. Toll fee will so be the minimum. Actual toll will be billed post-trip. Transponder #01513909737.

TLDR: my future rentals are going to start by tapping Emmie's profile. After learning that my own car wouldn't be delivered in time for a weekend golf trip, I reached out to Emmie . . . and I'm pretty sure that it was a better experience than if my delivery *had* been ready. Couldn't have asked for a better host. I specifically appreciate the unexpectedly simple process of arranging a pickup at my house after the trip. Goes without saying that the SL400 AMG is a great time. You don't need me to tell you that.

Overall a very positive experience!,. The car was beautiful and beautifully maintained. I did experience an issue with a rather rapid 'slow leak' from the left rear tire. Eventually I was losing 2 lb of pressure for every mile driven. It's not a question of if you are going to have a problem with a car, because that can happen. What really matters is how your host responds! Emmie and her team went out of their way to make sure that I was free to take it to any tire shop. I did take it to Discount Tire and unfortunately I was a victim of the Chicago land road system and there was a crack in the wheel, causing the rapid air loss, that required welding. This could not be done at Discount Tire, so my host graciously agreed to pick up the car from quite a distance from their home base and to compensate me for my final day in the car by reversing the charges for the final day. It meant a great deal to me that the reversal of charges was brought up by them, and not me. I did not even have to ask. That let me know, that I was dealing with a very high quality host, who treated me fairly, even in a situation that was beyond their control!! I would definitely recommend that you rent this car, or any car that this host has on the platform!!
