The car was available on time and had been thoroughly cleaned upon pick up. It was our first time renting through this app and was surprised by how easy Samantha and her husband made the process. We rented for three days to bop around Palm Springs and visit Joshua Tree, and it got the job done. It’s a bare-bones car, but we didn’t need any bells and whistles. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier! (We’d advise you to check Uber/Lyft availability before dropping off — we had to wait quite a while for one.)

Overall, it went really well! The car was as clean as I expected, communication was fast and easy. They had good tips to share and made me feel comfortable. This was my first time using Turo. I wish I had taken pictures at the end of my trip to show I was returning the car clean and vacuumed. They took their pictures in the dark with the flash and it showed spots that I didn't see in normal lightening. I don't know if that will end up being an issue. They had also promised a reimbursement of a fee due to a late pick up, and it took me really hounding them for it, but it was eventually taken care of.
