Description

🧼🧼🧼Car is sanitized between every trip🧼🧼🧼 🔵 It's a fuel efficient business and sporty looking plug-in hybrid car with leather seats!! This is a perfect car to zip around the city to run errands for a day or take a weekend trip down the coast or explore Yosemite. ⚫️ You can zip through the tolls (I have FasTrak). You'll pay me after your trip. ⚪️ Trunk is little small due to electric battery in the trunk. If you plan a weekend trip traveling with 4-5 people, this is not the best car for you due to it not being able to fit all your luggage. 🔵 Car has Titanium trim and is loaded with bunch of features and extras. ⚫️ If you'd like to leave a green footprint, this car can be charged electrically and does go about 18 miles on the city/10 miles on the highway with fully charged battery. 📍Car is located 2 blocks from West Oakland bart station. ‼️ It is a 2013 car, so 7 years old. Mechanically in excellent condition and roadworthy but has some smaller dings, dents, scratches etc. BACK-UP CAMERA: Car is equipped with back-up camera, however, it’s not advertised in my listing because it’s not working half of the time. Best practice is always to use mirrors and know your surroundings while backing up.

Guidelines

🚭 No smoking - please understand if you go against this policy you will be charged for smoke and ashes removal fee. 🐶 Pets are welcome put please add the extra pet fee and make sure to bring the car back cleaned/detailed to avoid pet cleaning fee. As a pet owner, I know exactly how much harder it is to clean the car with pet hair in it. It just gets absolutely everywhere, including hard to reach spots. ✅ Avoid getting charged extra fees by refuling the car, staying within the milage included, returning the car on time and clean, unless extras for previoulsy named services were added at the time of booking. Again if any questions or concerns please contact me. If I don't get back to you via Turo app, it may be because the notification got lost between all other notifications. Occasionally that happens. Please send another message via Turo or text/call me as you will have an access to my number once you have booked the trip under host details.

Faqs

  • What if I go over included milage limit?

You are welcome to go over the included milage limit. You just will be charged for those extra miles. You can find included miles and the cost per extra mile under your trip details. If you know prior to starting your trip that you will be driving a lot more miles and will benefit from the unlimited package, please add the extra before staring your trip. Once your trip has started, extras can't be added or removed.

  • How to refill the gas?

To open the gas lid, you need to push down on a gas button in the middle console by the gear shifter. Second or two later you will hear/see the lid popping open. No cap. Regular gas is okay.

  • Does it have back-up camera?

Yes, but it’s not advertised in my listing because it’s not working half of the time. Best practice is always to use mirrors and know your surroundings while backing up and not to rely on gadgets.

  • Other Questions?

If any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact me. If I don't get back to you via Turo app, it may be because the notification got lost between all other notifications or bad service etc. Occasionally it may happen. Please send another message or text/call me as you will have an access to my number once you have booked the trip under host details. If immidiate response is needed, please contact Turo for assitance.

  • Bluetooth Connectivity or other issues with the entertainment info center, like stuck volume.

If you have problems connecting your phone with bluetooth or the music starts skipping, here are few options to solve this: Most common fix: Reset your phone and turn the car off, lock it, unlock it, turn it back on. Usually this has solved it for me. If not, perform MASTER RESET: On your phone, choose Bluetooth from the Settings menu, then select SYNC and delete it. On the SYNC screen, press the Menu button. Press the Down Arrow button until SYNC Settings displays on the screen. Press OK. Press the Down Arrow button until Master Reset displays on the screen. Press OK. A Confirmation message displays on the screen. Press Yes. After completing a master reset you will need to pair your phone to SYNC. Also please be mindful that some aftermarket cables, charges will conflict with the system and may not work or work here and there. If you are using aftermarket cables for USB input directly with the car and listen music and take calls like that way, you may find it not reliable. Also if you are charging your phone through the USB input port and try to connect phone with Bluetooth as well, you will conflict it and it will not work.

  • How to turn on the car?

Warning: This is a hybrid, so the car will most likely not make engine noise when turning it on, and be relatively quiet that it may confuse you. Before you hit that start button on the right side of the wheel, make sure to have your foot on a brake pedal. If succesful, you will see a green light shaped like car and arrows both ways illuminating on the right side of the cluster. If you don’t have your foot on a brake pedal, and hit the start button, you will be in accessory mode. And you will see orange/yellow engine light on the cluster. Also the start button will be just blinking green, indicating you are indeed in accessory mode. Still having difficulties to turn it on? Make sure your gear is in P (park). You can change gears when in accessory mode. Car will not start if your gear is other than P (park). I have personally been puzzled couple times myself why the car is not starting. Somehow I have entered accessory mode, thinking I’m in run mode, changed the gear to drive but car is a no go. Then I turn it off, but gear is still in drive without me realizing it regardless of the warning sounds that the car plays. I have kept hitting the start button and holding the brake down at the same time and still nothing, slowly starting to panic, until I realize, the car is in gear. Duh! So the foolproof way to start the car: Make sure it’s not in gear, hold the brake pedal down and hit the start button. If it is in gear, enter accessory mode, meaning just hit the start button without holding down the brake pedal. To change the gear to P(park) in accessory mode, hold the brake pedal down and change the gear to P(park). Now you can hold the brake pedal down and hit start again, it will switch from accessory mode to run mode.

  • If there is a need to tow the car and you can’t reach me, where should it be towed?

If it appears to be a mechanical issue or flat tire, please direct Turo roadside assistance to tow it to car’s home location. If it’s been in an accident where airbags deployed or liquids are leaking, or overall not safe to drive due to the nature of the damage, direct Turo to tow it to one of their locations.
