The Chevy volt runs off an electric battery for the first 40 miles, before switching to its gas engine that lasts another 300 miles. (Gas engine gets roughly 40 Mpg) This car comes loaded with features. On-board navigation, back-up camera, on-star tracking system, seat warmers, premium Bose audio, frontal collision alarm, lane merging alarm, and regenerative braking just to name a few.
