All you need to do is enter your destination into the navigation and if charging is needed, the Tesla will automatically include charging stops along the way. It will even let you know the additional time that will be added to your trip with the charge stop. --WHAT CHARGE LEVEL DO I NEED TO RETURN THE TESLA WITH? To avoid fees, you will need to return the car at equal or greater charge than you received it. (Typically, this will be between 80%-%90 charge level). » If returned below the charge level it was collected at but above 50% there is a $15 recharging fee. » If returned with a charge level between 10%-50% there's a $25 recharging fee. » If returned at a less than 10% charge level you will incur a $50 penalty fine. Please return the Tesla with at least an 80% charge level (If you picked up the car at less than 80% you may return it at the same level of charge). See above for all fees associated with returning below the required charge level. Please keep the battery within 15%-90% at ALL TIMES! This is the recommended range for a continued healthy battery. Letting the battery drain to 0%, will incur a $1000 fee for permanent damage to the battery, and you will be responsible for the cost of the tow truck required to tow you to a charging station. --WHERE CAN I CHARGE? What if the car is out of battery?
We recommend maintaining the battery level at more than 20%. Battery drains a lot faster when it is below 20%. For example, if you leave the battery at 10% at night. You may find the battery empty the next morning. In this case, you will have to call a tow truck and tow it to the closest supercharge.
Do I need to pay for the charging? And how much will it be?
Yes, the charge is billed under my account. Once your trip is complete, I will calculate the total and send you a reimbursement invoice. Pricing may vary by location and prices may change from time to time. After finding the charging station on the touchscreen, it will tell you the price for 1 kWh. Please remove the car after it is done charging. Otherwise, you will be billed an idle fee of $1 per minute.
How do I charge the battery?
With the Navigation screen open (the default screen), widen the map and look for red markers, which will also have a number (indicating the number of open charging stations available). Select the appropriate red marker (typically the closest one to you or on your route) and follow the directions. When you plug in, often times the charge will set your charge limit to 80%. If you're on a longer trip, set the charge to 90%, but don't keep it overnight at 90%. Never charge over 90%. Depending on the charging station you use and how much you use, it should cost between $10-20. Please note that once charging is complete, you have 5 minutes to disconnect from the charging station or else Tesla will charge me up to $1 per minute, which I will invoice to you if there is a charge. The fee will go to my account and I will bill you.
At what level do I need to return the battery charge?
I will provide the vehicle to you at least 80%. Please return it with at least 80% or pay prepaid post-charge.
It's my first time driving a Tesla. Can you provide tutorials?

Where to find the odometer?
The odometer can be found under Control Menu (the car icon on the bottom left corner), and then under Software section.
What if I receive a parking ticket?
We certainly don't want the ticket to pass its due date, and you end up paying more than what it supposed to be. Please let me know if you receive a ticket. You can either pay it yourself or I pay it first and send you a reimbursement invoice.
