Faqs

  • How do I charge the car at a Tesla Supercharger?

Simply go to any Tesla Supercharger and plug the car in to charge it.

  • Where do I charge the car?

Charge the Tesla at any “Tesla supercharger” stations. They will be marked with red bolts on the cars map. Don’t use out of network charging stations as they take longer and cost more.

  • How do I pay for Tesla supercharging?

You do not need to add a payment method. The Tesla station will bill directly to the host and the guest will be billed at the end of the trip as an EV charging fee of $0.10/mile driven during the trip. Ex: 200 miles x $0.10 = $20.

  • How do I start the car?

The Tesla is electric and therefore doesn’t have a motor that needs to be turned on. To drive, simply tap the Tesla key card to the center console between the cup holders and middle armrest.

  • Does it take gas?

    No.

  • What is a Tesla destination charger VS a Tesla Supercharger?

A “Tesla destination charger” is a charging station owned by a 3rd party and can take up to 24 hours to fully charge. A “Tesla Supercharger” is Tesla certified and usually takes 30-60 minutes to fully charge.

  • What if I get a stain on the white seats?

Please do not try and clean the seats if you get them dirty. Most stains can be removed easily with special materials and I do not charge extra for this unless the stains are extremely hard to remove.

  • Where is the charge port?

Driver side rear tail light of car. You can open it by lightly pressing it. After charging it will close on its own.

  • How long does it take to charge?

Usually 30 to 60 minutes to fully charge at a “Tesla Supercharger.” Out of network charging stations can take up to 24 hours to fully charge the car.

Michael was an amazing host, who I would definitely rent from again when back in LA. Event went as far as including a game controller in the console to play games while I was charging the car. Thanks Michael.
