Things to know A charging cord can be supplied to you upon request free of charge. If you lose it or damage it the replacement fee is $600, it is not covered by Turo's insurance. It can be plugged into any regular outlet, but charging time is very slow, about 5 miles/hour charging time. ⚠️If you use a Tesla Supercharger station the fees will be passed on to the renter post-trip. Full charge fee varies but would be a maximum of about $20. ⚠️Tesla charges idle fees for cars that are left plugged after the charging has been completed, so please move the car soon after fully charging. It costs 1 dollar per minute!!! You will be charged for this fee after the trip is over

Another great TURO experience! Lev was waiting curbside at baggage claim to deliver his new Tesla. After a quick tutorial we were off. If you haven’t experienced driving a Tesla- this is one of the best and possibly only way to test drive for a week. Serious Instant power in this white on white auto. Our hotel was equipped with chargers, so every morning we were full power. With no need to refuel at drop off, we saved even more time in addition to passing every gas station. Lev was waiting at departure gates (ridiculously easy). No navigating rental shuttles, car rental lines and all the assorted paperwork. The real kicker was the cost to rent from Lev outweighed renting from a big, small, or any other rental company…especially with the gas savings, airport fees, taxes, etc. Lev answered all my questions via the TURO app…in seconds. Great host and awesome car. Can’t wait to do it again!
