The M440i was a joy to drive. As a BMW M owner myself, I prefer to get a BMW when I travel. Pick-up and drop-off were easy, though it did require an Uber to get to and from the location. (I understand that LAX has made changes to the drop-off and pick-up locations permitted.) There was some minor damage to the vehicle upon pick-up (which was photographed and not really noticeable without really looking for it) and the oil service indicator had come on upon starting the car, however Nikita was quick to reply to my message regarding this, letting me know not to worry as the mechanic had simply not reset the indicator. Overall, it was a very nice car that's fun to drive.

Nikita was very accommodating and easy to work with. A great rental experience and anyone looking for a great experience I recommend this host. Beautiful car.

Positives: Car didn’t have a single piece of dirt in it. Engine ran smooth, sounded great and made getting onto the highway simple. Nikita was reasonably on-time for the pickup (traffic and the awful location I unknowingly picked made it difficult so can’t really blame him). Negatives: As soon as I drove out of the lot from picking it up, I realized how bad it needed an alignment. The car was pulling hard to the left just during city driving. As soon as we got on the freeway, the car started vibrating and making loud noises. The car probably needs new tires or at least a re-balance. Driving on the freeway and I-5 for the majority of our trip was annoying because you felt like you had to fight to stay in between the lines the entire time. Also, the drop-off at the end was a pain because the lot they chose did not exist anymore, so I had to park a few miles from the terminal and unexpectedly find an Uber to get me to my flight on time.

Overall it was a good experience. Car was great and clean. Amazing handling! Communication could have been a little better. I had to ping Nikita a few times for pick up and drop off instructions before receiving them but car wasn’t difficult to retrieve/drop off once I got them.
