I am recent Turo convert. A friend suggested I get the app after I had a bad experience with Enterprise, which I had been using for decades. I travel for a living so I don't own a car. It doesn't make sense when it would just be sitting in an airport parking lot for most of the time. So I get by with Lyft and rent a couple times a month. I love the variety of vehicles that I can choose from with Turo. and since I don't have a personal car insurance policy that covers me in a rental car, I appreciate that the additional insurance offered is at a reasonable price. Driving this Fiat was an experience I never could have had with a traditional car rental company. I've always really liked Fiats and wanted to try one out and I finally got my wish. This particular Fiat was a 100% electric car, another item on my list of things to try out. The charging was a little bit of a learning curve for me but KB had instructed me on downloading the charge point app and that helped a lot. I only had the car for 2 days and didn't really drive it beyond the battery's capacity. But I didn't spend a cent on gas for 2 days and I drove from Long Beach to Pasadena and back and then from Long Beach to downtown LA and back plus a few errands here in Long Beach. The car itself was clean, roomier inside than you would expect from a Fiat and I enjoyed fitting into miniscule parking spaces with room to spare. KB made the pickup and drop off easy and was easy to communicate with via the app. I come to Long Beach a couple times a year and I fully expect that I will try and rent this exact car each time.

i was in Long Beach on business and Gene is the ideal to rent from. amazing experience. the car was clean. Gene respond anytime and try to work it out for your need. i recommend and defiantly i will consider renting again.

First Turo rental ever! It was a great experience! Rented Robert’s Tesla Model 3 for a trip from Long Beach to Temecula for a wedding! Pick up and drop off was very convenient! Robert was really easy to get a hold of when we needed something!

Before taking off he walked all around the car and told me all about it, then did the same for the interior. Youll drive knowing all you need to. Danny is a super friendly guy, and pick up at Long Beach was simple. The was clean, and very smooth and comfortable to drive. Fairly fuel efficient as well; I averaged about 31-32mpg with a lot of city driving, and time stuck in LA traffic. I highly recommend renting this vehicle!

Chariah's van is great! The interior is impeccably clean and very functional. Chariah stocked it with all the essentials and great quality blankets and pillows. For its vintage, the van performed really well, too. Already planning our next trip.

Jeff made this super simple! Easy pickup and drop off right in Long Beach. The vehicle was a nice ride and was easy to get around in and park as it was fairly compact. We went down the coast a bit and stopped in a few cities and it was a perfect ride for zipping around.

Simon and Marsha’s Mustang GT is a perfect getaway car! It’s rowdy and playful Coyote V8 will put a smile on your face while soaking yourself in unlimited sunshine. Besides, Simon and Marsha goes above and beyond to make sure the pick up and drop off went as smooth as possible. They answered all my questions and speedily approved my request to extend the rental. I would definitely be happy to rent it again!

This was my second experience using Turo. My trip was so extraordinarily good I don’t think I’ll use a traditional rental car service ever again. I booked my trip super last minute and when I got off the plane Akmal was already at the airport waiting for me. He is super personable and made everything easy. The hybrid was AMAZING. I’ll be going back and forth to LA over the next few months I’ll only request cars through Akmal’s fleet. Can’t say enough great things about my experience.

This was my 3rd time renting from Paul with yet another great experience and easy process. The car is super smooth, was super clean and felt brand new. Paul was also super flexible with my extension requests and schedule changes. Cant recommend him and this car enough!

Good simple little car that performed well for a long road trip to Utah. Good gas mileage. Everything was functional and well maintained. Even did well in some surprise snow along the way. Front bumper was slightly loose from some previous damage though.

Robert was amazing. But I’m sorry, his Tesla was even more amazing. By far, the best car I’ve ridden. I rented from Robert with the intention to try out the car in case I would want to buy it soon one day. Robert made the experience even better. Other people at the super chargers made the experience almost exclusive and inviting. It isn’t just about having the car, it’s a culture and an experience. I am blown away beyond my expectations and Robert made trying out his Tesla extremely easier and fun. Finding the pickup location was simple and easy. If you take an Uber, then you don’t have to worry about being navigated to the airport, didn’t need google maps. The car is parked in a private “Virgin Orbit” parking lot. However it’s important that you tell the driver to drive all the way up to the automatic gate as he/she might assume it is locked. It opens by sensor. The autopilot works on highways amazing. One thing to note, when it asks to out your hands on stealing wheel, all it is asking for is to push/turn the wheel slightly, give it slight resistance. I didn’t know this so several times just putting hands on the wheel got the Tesla to suspend self driving capabilities until end of the current ride. I felt like the car was punishing me lol. But once I realized that just giving minor resistance to the wheel every now and then, the autopilot works amazing. I get why the engineers require this. It is because, especially at dividers, when the car has to choose between taking the exit and not taking it, it might take the wrong one. So attention is definitely required. I am thoroughly impressed at the cars performance. Supercharging was amazing, easy, and faster than I expected. I went to the mall to return some stuff, and I come back to an almost full batter in - little over an hour! This was from almost empty to almost full. Great experience. Very easy. Robert was available and quick to respond. Also being the cheapest person around LGB for a Tesla model 3, there was nothing cheap about the experience I recieved renting from him. Thanks Robert!

My rental experience with Sam was absolutely phenomenal. From pick up, the car was in excellent condition, very clean, with a full tank of gas. I had absolutely no issues whatsoever. The real gem of my rental experience was Sam himself, I extended the car rental several times and instant his communication and response timing was impeccable! I was a Turo virgin prior to this trip so this, combined with my lack of knowledge of American car parks, meant there were some things beyond my ken. However, Gene's detailed instructions made the collection of the car simple. The car was as described and gave us two days of fun cruising along PCH1 and into LA. We stayed on the Queen Mary which meant we could leave the car in the pre paid Pike parking lot rather than pay the $22 in the hotel car park. Very conveniently placed parking for us. Overall, an enjoyable couple of days rental and I would gladly recommend Gene to any potential future users.
